Hi folks, I also have the DNS issue, I'm unable to access domain names when I start my Mac and Adguard. If I stop Adguard and restart it later, resolving domain names works again. I have no problem accessing IP addresses directly, only domain names. I don't know if the problem comes from Adguard...
You can use the ^= or $= CSS selectors if the randomized folder name still has a fixed pattern (e.g. starts or ends always with the same characters or digits). I can also think about wildcards in your case. Good luck ;)
When you notice the Internet is slow, do you also notice AdGuard using a lot of CPU resources in the task manager? Could you leave AdGuard on, but with all rules unchecked? This is to observe if the speed is better when Adguard doesn't parse anything. The normal behavior is having web pages load...
Thanks. That's weird: today, everything works fine, I can't reproduce the bug... I'll keep an eye on this and if I can reproduce the bug again, I'll use the reporting tool as you suggested.

Thank you guys for this great ab-blocking application.
If I understand, DNS filtering is performed by Adguard (in-between the Google News app and the Internet), as it acts as a VPN. In this case, instead of returning a 404 error message to the app, AdGuard could redirect the request to a local web server that would return a blank page with a 200...
In Google News, online newspaper articles have advertisements here and there, that are successfully blocked; however, the locations of the advertisements are replaced by 404 error pages when they were expected to be loaded in an iframe:
The same article, loaded in a web browser doesn't have...
That's odd... I double-checked, there's no trailing space. I typed also manually, but to no avail.
These work:
||example.com^$document
||example.com^$removeparam=test
This doesn't:
||example.com^$document,removeparam=test
