I always had this problem. The only way to put it on again is to reinstall the app.
And even if reinstall, once I turn it off, it won't turn on again.
Reboot doesn't work.
I just turn it off.
So I can't reactivate it.
I click on the button but nothing happens.
No messages, no error, nothing.
I'm using a MacBook Pro (15-inch, 2019) with Catalina 10.15.6
