Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Fwiw, i updated to 7.7.2 a couple of days ago and it works well with IE11, so well in fact that i actually forgot i was running the latest build of AdGuard when i was using IE11 :)

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Thanks avatar, it must be the Extended CSS rules that are causing me to still see some ads on some pages when i use IE11. For me this will likely be moot soon anyway, when i do use IE11 i'm finding more and more websites don't work correctly (with other issues NOT related too or caused by...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

I am incredibly hesitant to ask this but having tried all the releases since 7.6 without the issue being fully resolved, has this issue been finally been resolved in 7.7.1, or will it never be resolved?

AdGuard is slowing down Facebook loading speed significantly

The AdGuard filters don't cover all 'scopes', i believe what Blaz is trying to run you though is a process so he can elimanate the non AdGuard supported filters, it's up to you if you want to follow through on that process. Fwiw, these forums can seem a bit odd at times but it's an...

    Filters not updating automatically

If i understand you correctly then when you disabled the Ad Blocker and Extensions modules you likely disabled the ability for them to check for updates? Could this have been an unfortunate side effect of whatever you changed 3 days ago when you upgraded to 7.6.1? It just seems odd that 3 days...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Thanks for clarifying that this was a mistake and it will be fixed :)

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

@Boo Berry Thanks for looking into this and updating the Github thread, i don't hold out much hope that this will be taken seriously, not least because the Github thread is still marked as Closed, but thanks for trying anyway. Fwiw, i agree that if no fix is available for IE11 then the least...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

I don't know what the issue is, i'm just reporting what my experience has been so far. For me 7.5.3 works well with both IE and FF on Win7 64bit... i may be missing some of the latest bells and whistles that 7.6 (& the .1 variant) offers in FF but for me there are far too many bells and...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

It's becoming clearer that 7.6 did break something, whether or not that is the issue with IE11 remains unclear... I srongly suspect that whatever AdGuard changed with the final release of 7.6 (and 7.6.1) to this day remains current for IE11 users. Confer and make up your own mind...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

AdGuard website claims: Obviously there are limits to what "any browser" means, e.g. I of course would not expect AdGuard to work with IE1 or Netscape but until IE11 does reach end of life, i would. While i do agree that IE11 is an old browser and about to be retired by Microsoft, the fact is...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Fwiw, i'm not sure what you mean by a short clip, what i see isn't embedded in videos on sites like YouTube, it is some advertising that isn't being blocked, or if it is being blocked then the place holders remain that appear as blank space on a web page. Unitil 7.6 (and 7.6.1) were released...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

@myMoon Am i missing something that you need? You appear to be asking me for information that i and aya888888 have already posted in this thread. e.g. I inderstand that IE11 is out of cycle and may not work well with latest websites but that doesn't change the fact that when 7.6 was released...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Given the lack of feedback from AG mods here i'm not so sure this issue is being worked on, all i know for certain is that the Beta builds of 7.6 worked well, it wasn't until 7.6 was released to the wider public that something was broken. That said, the more people who report this issue the...

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Fyi, I've now downgraded to 7.5.3 and removed the Beta Release channel on my AG Win7 PC, something was broken with 7.6 (and 7.6.1), what exactly was broken only time will tell but in the meantime except for filter updates etc, i won't be allowing AG to update on Win7. I already see an...

@myMoon Do you have an update or do you need more info?

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

Because aya888888 appears to be seeing a similar effect that i do i'll use the links he used to share the cerfificates as i see them on Win7 x64 IE11. I hope it helps. <Edited to include> I should have added that what he sees in IE11 on Win10 i can replicate with IE11 on Win7.

    AdGuard for Windows - 7.6 RC 2

You broke something with the final release: cf: https://forum.adguard.com/index.php?threads/did-7-6-completely-break-filtering-for-anyone-else.42723/ I'm not convinced it was completely broken, but it was broken.

    I should have added FF 88.0 and IE11 on Win 7 x64.

7.6 has broken something that is as yet undetermined.

Did 7.6 completely break filtering for anyone else?

I haven't checked all the threads on this Forum about this issue yet so this may be out of date, i'm on the Beta Channel and something definately broke when 7.6 was released as a Final Release, i'm now on 7.6.1 and the issues persists. There is no specific issue that i understand, it is simply...
