Sorry I didn't write it down. There were 5 or 6 cosmetic rules and I disabled them one by one and eventually got the comments back. I then re-enabled them all and still had comments so perhaps it was a cookie or cache thing. Youtube forced a new version recently and perhaps disabling those rules...
I can reproduce it nonstop unfortunately. And, yes, when I click the little Adguard icon and disable filtering for 30 seconds, all the comments show up. This is how I know the problem is with Adguard. Here's a screenshot and the blocked and modified filters:
I'm 99% sure that the problem is caused by something that lists itself as a "Cosmetic Rule" - but I can't see a way to disable it nor can I see what the actual rule is. Where I do I find Cosmetic Rules so I can edit? Thanks.
Adguard is blocking comments on Youtube - they're coming up blank. I know it's Adguard because when I disable, the comments show up. I think it's some cosmetic rule but I can't figure out which one is doing the blocking so I can disable it and be able to read comments. How do I get comments...
Yes I'm aware of all the standards ways of disabling Youtube autoplay thanks. None of them work consistently so I was looking to see if I could use Adguard to filter out any Youtube URL that included the word "autoplay" and allow all other Youtube URLs to work as usual. Is that possible?
I read the rules but I can't really figure out how to filter by a keyword in a url. For example, I hate Youtube autoplay and they make it impossible to turn off regardless of browser, plugins, etc. I'm thinking perhaps disabling the API call with also disable the autoplay (dunno but worth...

Okay. I turned on debug logging, went to the site listed above (the Google speedtest site), let it fail so you could see what was happening, then sent the logs. The Helpdesk ID is: 1888843.
No it's Adguard-specific. When going through my Private Internet Access VPN on Android, the pages load fine. It's something in Adguard VPN but not Adguard Proxy or a different company's VPN.
I'm using Adguard for Android 2.11 with Android Oreo 8.1 on a Nexus 6P. Everything is fully updated.
The issue is this: when Adguard is set to use Local VPN, most sites don't load. When Adguard is set to use Proxy (rooted), everything loads fine. As an example, Google's built-in speedtest...
Unfortunately, that didn't solve it. Have had it that way for the past 2 days and just experienced the problem once again a moment ago. Stopping and restarting Adguard is the only way to restore internet. Any other approaches you want me to try?
Have you guys been able to track down this bug? I think it's in the VPN component because I've been using Adguard with proxy (root) for the last day or so haven't experienced the problem so far (though if I do I'll report back).
