For me those changes didn't help. I still see an average of 330/280 on my AT&T Gigabit fiber with Adguard enabled. With Adguard disabled I get 945/940. Still not fixed. This is a wired ethernet connection.
Well that sucks. I made a few phone calls yesterday and today on my wifi network and so far they have been clear. The only time I heard garbled speech and cutouts was when my buddy had his phone on hands free.
It is not my system. I had the issue on my old computer. And on my new computer as well. I even wrote in the reply above, that I guess you didn't read, that I built a new computer last month. As well as purchased a new router. The problem still present. Just please stop responding to my posts and...
I am the previous poster that you referred to. It was much more than a 20mbps loss that I was experiencing with Adguard running. I was only seeing about 200mbps with Adguard. Maximum 300mbps. With Adguard disabled I see 940 to 960mbps. Please get your facts straight.
Last month I built a new...
I use Firefox and downloaded an add on to it called Disable HTML5 Autoplay. It works great. I don't use Chrome but maybe they make the same add on for Chrome. I hate auto play videos too.
I tried disabling WFP and my speeds went to 960/220. Disable Adguard and they are back at 960/945. So I will keep Adgaurd disabled. Thanks for the suggestion though.
I use Cloudflare also. I get on average 960/940 with my Gigabit fiber through AT&T if I disable Adguard and just use the extension in Firefox. Once I disable the Adguard extension and fire up the Adguard program my speed drops to an average of 300/350.
I have uninstalled Adguard even though I have a lifetime license. I'll reinstall it if they ever fix the issue. For now I have just the Adguard extension installed in Firefox. The extension works like the Adguard program should.
I just feel paranoid about sending all my computer info including banking and family pics. I have diabled Adguard and am using something else until the product can be updated for gigabit internet. I appreciate the replies though.
I have the logs ready but I have a question. I have personal information on my computer. Banking info and passwords, family photos, etc. Will this information be transmitted to you also? Maybe I'm just being paranoid. But I don't feel comfortable sending that type of info. Thanks.
I'll try looking at the CPU load. I have an 8 core CPU running at 4.2ghz. So it should be fine. All I know is that using Adguard I have a slow internet connection. If I disable Adguard I get full gigabit speeds. Now I did disable the full Adguard program and have turned it off when I boot...
No it doesn't. I still get slow speeds with Adguard enabled. I'll try whatever you think I should try. Except nightlies as those always lock up my computer and crash it. I really would like to be able to use Adguard but right now I can't.
Thank you for your reply. I think your last paragraph sums it up. Adguard doesn't have access to a fast connection. I have tried all the suggestions and they do not make a difference. I have white listed the speed test sites and it doesn't make any difference. I know the slow down is caused by...
So no one including Adguard staff know if Adguard supports gigabit speeds? Are there any ideas or do I just have to live with Adguard disabled? I have a lifetime license and it's sad I can not use the product.
