7.5 beta 1. I'm trying to block dns://catalog.gamepass.com as it's what I suspect is something related with the boated gaming services in windows 10 which I don't need. after adding a rule (||catalog.gamepass.com) it still goes through every couple of minutes, like there is no rule in place.
I also found out that the dns filtering feature interferes with DNSBench (it makes it completely non functional), not that it's any problem for me to disable it before using DNSBench but I just wanted to point that out since more apps might be affected similarly
I though I might have been possible if they let firefox deal with the already-implemented sni encryption while taking the dns resolution part from it, but I have minimal technical knowledge on the subject so idk
Quad9 over https doesn't seem to work with the new dns filtering option. My router is set to 1.1.1.1, AG set to quad9 doh and even after flushing dns cache Edge stays connected to cloudflare instead of quad9.
EDIT: Disabling the secure dns lookup flag made the adguard dns setting more...
