With AdGuard 6.3.1276.3827 I'm unable to use the new Android Messages Web service at:
If AdGuard is fully disabled and Chrome is restarted, everything works as expected.
Re-enabling AdGuard breaks the service again.
Adding messages.android.com to the HTTPS...
Looks like there isn't much discussion about the new beta version yet, so I hope this thread is in the right location.
I upgraded to v6.3.974.3223 today and appears to work mostly just fine (surprisingly few notable changes for such a long delay in development) but one thing is driving me...
Looks like AdGuard started to trip CBS's anti-adblock feature again. See attached screenshot.
This has been reported and corrected several times in the past.
Chrome 64.0.3282.85 64Bit Windows
AdGuard for Windows 6.2.437.217...
As always, technical support is slow and can't replicate an issue no matter how well it has been described.
On multiple pages, the content is replaced with a white/blank pages after loading when AdGuard is enabled. This is happening in both Firefox and Chrome, including in Incognito Mode...
The one thing I always thought was one of AdGuard's premium features was that it was doing a pretty good job at staying ahead in the cat and mouse game between adblockers and anti-adblock-scripts. Websites that were inaccessible with uBlock would be functional and ad-free with AdGuard.
I'm seeing ads in the "Social" and "Promotions" tab, the Primary tab remains ad-free.
Google Chrome 61.0.3163.100 (Official Build) (64-bit)
Clean install of AdGuard 6.1.331.1732 with the following filters:
English, Social Media, Annoyances, German
Unblocking "Useful Ads" is disabled, so is...
The LA Times blocks adblockers, and at the moment it does so quite successfully with AdGuard enabled:
Zatto.com's new html5 site becomes useless:
As the title says:
Enabling the Anti-Adblock Killer | Reek userscript as an extension in in Adguard 6.1 several websites won't load and simply remain blank forever, for example:
Using only the filter list in Adblock but installing the matching userscript directly inside...
Adguard for Windows v18.104.22.1683 notified me of a new version, downloaded it and has been stuck on "Starting Update ..." ever since. Restarting Windows and restarting Adguard didn't resolve this, it always gets stuck on "Starting Update ...".
I'll manually update, but it's probably worth...
Now that Google Duo is out:
it appears that Adguard 2.7 completely breaks it unless filtering/tunneling is disabled for Google Duo.
You might want to look into this and exclude it by default. This will be a default...
I enabled the mobile ads filter on my Windows 10 system (I use a bunch of UWP apps and figured it couldn't hurt) ... well, I was wrong about the last part.
It took me a while to find the culprit but it appears to break quite a few scripts on desktop pages, examples...
Well, as the title says, enabling https blocking and UWP filtering breaks the Messenger App:
It simply won't load anything or will fail login with a certificate error.
Disabling filtering for websites with EV certificates fixes...
It took me a while to find the culprit, it's the Adguard Browser Extension:
https://www.gog.com is broken and doesn't show the images of the deals in the middle sections of the site that it would otherwise load on the fly.
It doesn't matter if it's running in integration mode, standalone mode...
Especially https filtering breaks quite a few apps, way more than whitelisted by default and that will probably always be the case.
Examples I found after a single day of usage:
Google Play Newsstand - downloading purchased magazines is impossible with https filtering active.
