    1.2.1 vs 2.1.0

I am still on version 1.2.1, but I’m fed up updating all my 500 apps manually every day.

What is the difference between AdGuard Pro 1.2.1 and post 1.2.1? Is there really no system wide ad blocking in latest versions?”

Alternatively, is there any way I can enable automatic update for AppStore apps skipping the 1.2.1 version? I tried modifying version number inside Apps’s payload files, but the app crashes.

@zYx right now system-wide filtering is back in the form of a) DNS filtering and b) Filter subscriptions.

Filter subscriptions provide the same quality of filtering in apps other than Safari as System-wide filtering did in 1.2.0, so you can update without worries.

Thanks @vasily_bagirov, but does it include ads blocking in YouTube app as well?
Are there any downsides from using the latest version compared to <1.2.1?

Youtube app ads can't be blocked as those are encrypted.

@Blaz I don’t seem to be getting any ads on YouTube app at the moment. Does 1.2.1 block them? I don’t have anything else installed.

Maybe you are lucky or they might have switched something.

No downsides, unless you consider the dark color scheme a downside.
