    adguard is not a vpn.

You can run adguard 24/7 but i shut my phone down at night anyhow.

Sure, most users do run it always (i.e. 24/7).
@Tungsten3 Adguards VPN mode is implemented as an Android VPN client.

While it looks like it runs as a VPN in android it still is not one though?
    Thats how i understand it.

I use Open VPN with airvpn service if i want to switch to a vpn on android while on the move.
Adguard is on when at home/work.

    It's a local VPN.

... I sincerely doubt that a VPN server is installed on the devices. It's most probably just a 'VPN' client that collects the traffic and channels it through AG instead a VPN server.

@UMX Android still considers AdGuard as a VPN, meaning that you can't run another VPN alongside it without jumping through hoops like using SOCKS proxy. I believe this is what @Tungsten3 was concerned about.

rly? that's worth producing noise? Why don't you rather use that time to correct your misleading/wrong KB?

But, as you asked for it:
"Android still considers AdGuard as a VPN" - said so!
@Tungsten3's statement "adguard is not a vpn." does not - not the slightest - back up your statement. I didn't react to any other of @Tungsten3's statements.

    So what's this hassle about?

@UMX the KB is not wrong, but neither are you. AdGuard, for the lack of better word, combines client and server parts of VPN — I am sure you understand this stuff better than I do. We chose the wording used in KB to give some understanding to people who are less familiar with IT.

I was wrong in that I was thinking you replied to a different comment, but there's still no need to get passive aggressive.
