Ad Guard for iPhone 5c

Hi All,

I have an older iPhone and because of this I am unable to install Ad Guard. Is there an older compatible version I could use? I have an iPhone 5c and with the sky high costs of a new phone the one I have is not going anywhere. Next time I buy it will be for the generation behind the current one sold retail via Amazon. The ads are just starting to get bad (or I just noticed) and I would hope there would be a way of getting an older version of Ad Guard. Thank You.

Unfortunately, Adguard needs to use Content blocking API which is provided by Apple, and they made it so you can only use it on 64-bit devices. You can find the full list of these devices on the Adguard page in iTunes - sadly, iPhone 5c is not among such devices.

One thing you can do is use Adguard DNS. It is a bit rough way to block ads, but it should work. You can find more information in our knowledge base: https://kb.adguard.com/en/dns/setup-guide#ios

@kantry123 they route your traffic through their server and don't use content blocking technology. Only Safari content blocking is limited to 64bit devices.
