Hi all!

It's time for the first beta version of Adguard 5.10.
5.10 will be a bug fix release so don't wait for major features:).

Changelog

Added:

+ Added Superbird Browser support

Fixed:

- Fixed some memory fragmentation issues (which could cause high memory usage)
- Fixed compatibility issue with ZenMate
- Fixed issue with injecting Adguard's code while using TDI driver

Awesome, thanks! I'll run it through its usual paces. :cool:

I do have one question, is the request for additional filter lists going to be added before 5.10 exits beta?

Thanks avatar, look forward to the filter updates.

Have you checked the post again i have added a few other things that might be good.

Edit:
Just checkd the memory usage and noticed its lowered quite abit, obviously need to check it though a days usage but defiantly good to see it lower and that your listening to what people say.

Also checked zenmate for 5 minutes and was good to see that was working now too (i havea vpn but zenmate be better for laptop i think)

Keep up the good work and i look forward to additional updates.

Just a quick question dont know if its just me with this issue but i had it in 5.9 too, but i can no maximise the application when its on the taskbar it just gives me a ding sound, i have to use the icon next to the clock.

Looking forward to try 5.10 out, I had to manually check for updates at program version to get the new update.

Auto-update is silent and normally it's done just after program start-up.

I mean program update too.

How it's done:
1. The program checks for update once in 6 hours
2. If update found - it downloads update package in the background
3. After update package is downloaded it schedules silent update so it's done on the next program startup

No auto update here - and no manual update available either.

(Have tried several times and have rebooted a couple of times today also)

Check the license section -- have you activated the program with Beta-tester's key?

Updated just fine (after checking for updates) within an hour of the release.

Beta license active & valid, inside the program and on the web account page.

I have an idea that it may be the .NET4 installation causing my issues - but I cannot find a full system requirements list to check against.

Minimum .NET version ?
Any required Windows services active & running ?

Not sure what I can rule out as being a cause.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
There was an issue with the .NET4 installation - updates are now working
I hope no-one thinks I'm not beta testing this but have absolutely no issues with this beta, It's one of the few bits of software I forget is even running. I have to disable it every now and again to remind he of the horrors of ads on web pages :)
The auto update though takes time, if you manually check updates after say about 15-30 minutes of activating your beta key. You will surely get the beta v5.10.108.5545.
There's multiple issues with Adguard + IE11 + YouTube as documented on the forums in this topic. I can confirm these issues in the 5.10 beta except the error when IE gives an error message when videos with ads try to load. The good news is, it might be a filtration issue - with all filters disabled (just English was enabled) with Adguard's filtering enabled, it works fine.
First day of my Beta testing... here is a small observation(sorry if its already reported)... I know the high memory issue has been addressed in this release but just now i checked my task manager and i saw that the AdGuard web filter using around 142.4MB( i know the memory fluctuates but i though this was a bit high for that single process)..... dont know if its normal please take a look at this screen shot http://s7.postimg.org/cjtehngzf/Capture.png
It could use lots of memory sometimes.
The question is - will the memory use go down afterwards?
