Hi all!

Just wanted to share an early demo of new Adguard's UI.
Attention: UI is still in development, there will be changes.

Wow thats a big change to the current menu!

Looking forward to testing it out, especially when it comes to updates to the filters noticed i want to set them up in specific ways and would like to see a few changes.

* Ability to import filters without messing up current user filters
* Warning if your going to lose your current filters if importing
* Ability to sort them somehow (right now i export and import alot to have some sort of order)
* Add filters at top rather than bottom as it saves scrolling thougha big list (i imported fanboys social filters to test something 11,000 lines!) or right click and "Insert filter here" would be nice
* Multiple user subscriptions (could add fanboys social, adblocks facebook and keep them updated with a touch of a button rather than copy and past jobs every update if there is one)

As it currently stands i add filters then sort them out at a later date though it is pain to remember what they do at times lol here is what i mean.

looking good, that is a clean start page nice. especially like the search feature.
@ Nameless, wow that user filter! i'm thinking that in order to tame such a user filter it would be really nice if the user filter section implemented a collapsible/expandable tree system. so the layout would be something like this:

Code:
-General filters:---||xp2.zedo.com^$third-party
                    ||youtube.com/annotations_
                    ||syndication.jsadapi.com^$third-party

                            ebay.co.uk###rtm_html_439
                            ebay.co.uk###rtm_html_1527

for this illustration "-" is an expanded tree while "+" is a collapsed one. this, in my opinion, would better help organise large user filter lists like you have and who knows even spill this method over to the other lists.

Nice idea rickyoh, if be happy with just titles for the menus (General > Overlays > Facebook Annoyances > Facebook Newsfeed Fixs) as everything in general would be in order anyway specially if they added "insert rule here" or something similar =)

Looking good!

Problem with those custom tree-based filters is, they deviate away from the "Adblock Plus" standard. :p

@Boo think of it as a folder structure for your filters; an organization tool. besides the folders themselves can be virtual the filters themselves aren't "physically" moved. so if you want all your ebay filters in one place create a folder named ebay and put all of them in there. cleans the section up immensely.

Seems everything is going for the metro look/feel.

If im honest not a fan of it but if devs want to use it then so be it long as they make things i use alot easy to access i dont mind. (i'll say if i want something moving that i use alot like my filters :p)
