You should also save our registry entry.

I've taken a look at our code.
    %programdata%\Adguard\dbase.s3db should be enough.
This database contains the configuration and filters.

For some reason redirecting the entire C:\ProgramData\Adguard , or All Users\Documents and Settings\Adguard in Windows XP still does not save the Adguard settings.
If you want I can give you access to my machine via Teamviewer so that you can check, DeepFreeze uses another program call Data Igloo to redirect folders to another drive which is persistent.

FYI Ad Muncher works fine with Deep Freeze and Data Igloo by redirecting the Ad Muncher folder in program data.

So thats the only positive that I can think for using Ad Muncher now.

We may try Teamviewer, let's discuss the suitable time in PM.

I can confirm that Adguard seems to be working fine with Deep Freeze in Windows 7 and Windows XP by redirecting the folders C:\ProgramData\Adguard or All Users\Documents and Settings\Adguard respectively. Not sure about Windows 8 though.

Just wanted to confirm that Adguard is fully compatible with Faronics DeepFreeze in all Windows OS. Just have to exit Adguard and disable the Adguard service and then redirect the C:\ProgramData\Adguard or All Users\Documents and Settings\Adguard depending on Windows version and data is saved through reboots.

Good news, so what was the problem? You have not stopped Adguard service before doing redirect?

that's the strange thing I did stop the service before as well. i think it was a problem with the older version of Faronics Data Igloo software.I downloaded and installed the latest version from the website and everything works fine.
