That is very strange indeed. Ok I'll wait for the test on fresh install.
OK I did a fresh install of Windows 8.1 Professional. After install devices drivers and fully update the system through Windows Update, I´ve installed Chrome and then Adguard 5.10. So far, it´s working as it should. With correct startup and assistant showing on 3 or 4 sites i´ve tested (didn´t tested extensible yet cause of the lack of free time). Only google don´t show assistant green badge, but for me is a not big deal.
It seems that the question why version 5.9 worked in such proper way on my system and 5.10 showed such issues will remain untold.
Thanks Avatar for the attention on the case and keep up the good work. Plus, my license is about to end in two months, and Im thinking on a lifetime one. Any plans for a discount or limited time promotional price for lifetime license?
I hope we will have discount function on the site at that moment.
If not - send me a PM, I will come up with something.
I was wondering how progress on the IE9 bug-fixed version is going?
Has been released a couple of days ago.
Check "Extensions" settings, which version of Assistant is there?
You should have received update automatically.
If you disabled the Assistant, you'll need to re-enable it before it'll update (just press the check for updates button).
The assistant was already enabled.
The assistant just now started working. I've been checking for new installer updates plus checking for extension updates numerous times every day, and have reinstalled it numerous times with the current last installer update signed 20th September 2014:
That's so really Weird! I'm not sure why it only just now decided to function - not complaining though!
I'll go check out some user scripts now and if all is functioning well, as expected, then I'll definitely purchase a premium lifetime license this Friday.
Thanks so much!
edit: I purchased a Premium Lifetime License this morning.
btw: Thank you for supporting userscripts in IE.
Had this same error Adguard assistant(3.0.33) not displaying in malwaretips forum and i was using fanboys annoyances and if i disable it Assistant is displayed again
This rule fixes the issue:
I've added it to the Fanboy's filter (the transformed version of it used by Adguard).
Where can I download the *.CRX for chrome-based and *.XPI files for mozilla-based browsers??
After installing FF v63 it won't load the assistant down the bottom right.
Installed regular AdGuard extension.
