AdGuard blocking HP Envy 114 E wireless printer from working.....

Glad I came across this. I am checking out the trial and planned on buying it after it is over. Now I am not so sure unless this problem can be solved. I pin pointed it down to AdGuard since it was the last thing I installed on my pc. When I go to print. It will not print and give me a error. It also mentions the device not being connected. Even though it is and showing on wireless. When I closed AdGuard and ended the service task for it. Printing resumed fine once again. Printer tools etc as well. So, AdGuard is blocking something causing my printer not to work. Anyone have a solution? Windows 8.1 64 bit.

To investigate this issue we need to see Adguard logs. Please do the following:

1. Press "Start"
2. Find "Adguard (debug mode)" and run it
3. Reproduce the issue
4. Collect log files:
https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?/Kn...uard-log-files

Could you please also collect one more log using special debug libs? Here is the instruction:

1. Stop Adguard service
2. Copy/paste debug libraries to Adguard folder (backup release libs):
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/cu08s3omx...yKMrFhACa?dl=0
3. Run Adguard service
4. Reproduce the issue
5. Reinstall Adguard or restore libs from backup
6. We need ProtocolFilters.txt from Adguard folder and timing (when exactly this issue was reproduced)

I also discovered if I disable AdGuard. Printing works fine again as well. Once I re-enable it. It wont work again. No other HP wireless printer users have complained about this with AdGuard? I would find that pretty hard to believe. Are you able to reproduce this issue in the lab? If I have some extra time. Suppose I can help get those logs. If not. I will just uninstall and move back to my previous ad blocker. Which I really don't want to as I find AdGuard to be better. At the same time. This seems like a major bug that should have been caught many moons ago. I wonder if this goes for anyone else with a wireless printer potentially running into this problem. Not just HP users. Btw. First link not working you posted.

We have never come across such problem before. That's why we need logs we asked for - becuse the problem is not typical. BTW here's the correct link: https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?/Russian/Knowledgebase/Article/View/23/10/how-can-i-get-adguard-log-files

First part attached with what you are asking for. Is it possibly good enough with out having to go the other step? Seems more advanced. Let me know. Thanks.

I'm afraid second part is crucial here. But that's not really that hard. The only tricky part is to stop/start Adguard service, and you can do it by doing following:

1) Press 'Win key' + R
2) Type in services.msc and press Enter
3) Find 'Adguard service' there in the list of services and stop/start it

I'd try Mediafire or OneDrive. If you uncomfortable posting links publicly, I'd suggest sending them to Vasily in a forum PM. :)

Oh I don't mind. I just thought that dropbox link was needed for something? That is why I mentioned it was not working. The link itself.
