AdGuard blocks ads even when paused or a site whitelisted

Oh so you only used whitelist not @@||rakuten.ca whitelist dosnt work most of the times you should use https whitelist or use @@||example.com

The browser extension did not do that automatically, which means I have to do this manually and I cannot trust the browser extension - correct?

Thanks for the advice. However, if I have to do this manually, I will try other ad-blocking extensions, where the extension itself does this job for me

This is a cache problem, the website still thinks you are using adblock. Clear the cache and check again or open this webpage in incognito mode.

Maybe not: when I paused another ad-blocking extension such as uBlock Origin for Safari, ad-blocking was successfully paused on those websites. There was no need to “clear the cache”.
