AdGuard Browser Assistant under Vivaldi Browser possible?

Hi,



can I use Adguard 2.8.1.x (Lifetime Licenses) with Adguard Browser Assistant [1.3.28]
in the browser Vivaldi [5.5.2805.38] for macOS? Vivaldi is a browser based on Chrome

I get a error message from the extension: "AdGuard is not installed or configured incorrectly"

What can I do to use AdGuard under Vivaldi?

Did you install it from the Chrome Web Store? If so, perhaps Vivaldi does something that doesn't make it compatible?

On Windows and Vivaldi - it works fine for me

I am lifetime with AG and the browser is installed on my iMac. Safari and Firefox are fine with it.

I had to copy the file com.adguard.browser_extension_host.nm.json

from ...
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/NativeMessagingHosts/

to ...
/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/Vivaldi/NativeMessagingHosts/

and all works fine for me

After that I could uninstall Google Chrome
