It's not Eset, I've tested again.I have a USB DAC (which is more-or-less a USB sound card) and I have no issues here. I suspect it might be related to ESET being present on the system here, but you never know.
I've had LatencyMon up and running for days now without any issues with latency. I've also been playing a lot of music via ASIO output set to 2ms latency with no issues either.
clean Installation won't tell me what wasvthe issue , I kmow there's not suppose to be issue, also new windows update arrives at 10.17. I am technicalnand fixing computer as a job, that's what I did since age 6. now it can happen again and I still won't know if won't check. also the update might fix it alsoHonestly? If you're going to the trouble of messing with drivers (which *can* be dangerous) I'd just backup everything I wanted to keep and reformat Windows and start over again and see if the issue still exists in a "clean" Windows state. I did a few days ago, and still no latency spikes.
