That is correct, no new update on my Pixel yet. I guess it will be in upcoming October update.

Had the same issue. Essential phone PH-1, Android Q, AdGuard release version. Phone rebooted about every day. Problem has gone just after removing software.

I can confirm that this problem still exists on Pixel 3 XL after the October 2019 security update. For me, it seems to be one random reboot per day that usually happens sometime between 7 am and 10 am CDT. The reboot occurs whether the phone is in use or not.

This fix is not included in the last update, we can only wait for the next one :)

This is extremely annoying. Can you guys/gals at the very least tell us why this is happening? Maybe some sort of workaround while we wait for this supposed Google fix? Adguard is basically useless to me right now...i refuse to induce random reboots (usually at really crappy times)
Pixel 3 on latest Q build
This problem is indeed real, and induced by Adguard

I tried turning off "Block ads in all apps" but my phone still rebooted a couple of days later. It works fine with AdGuard completely disabled.

Since I can't tell which part of AdGuard is triggering the issue, I have to keep it off entirely :(

I read a few previous replys and it does, indeed, seem to be a recognized issue with Q. But can adguard not do anything while we wait for Android to roll out a fix to mitigate the problem? Ahhh the joys of being Google's beta testers /s

This problem occurs not only when using AdGuard. This problem is reproduced together with any VPN service on Android 10. The error was fixed at the beginning of October, but so far it has not reached the new update of Android.

This forum is helpful.

After upgrading to Android 10 on my Pixel 2, I almost wanted to send out my phone for repair.

I thought it is a HW issue. I am glad it is just a software issue.

Edited:

I am still having the reboot at a rate of once every day.

2 reboots in the last 48 hours.

Unfortunately, we are powerless in this matter, it is necessary to wait for the update of the operating system Android 10 :(

Is there any work around?

I understand it is a problem with the VPN under 10?

Will disconnecting and reconnecting from app side help? Or some kind of reset? Like every 12 hours.

Yes, this is a known problem with the use of any VPN and Android 10.
As far as I know, this issue was fixed in early October.
But it looks like it hasn't been released yet.

I don't have this problem with any other VPN. I'm using nordvpn all day, no reboots. Only had the issue with adguard installed. Uninstalled it two weeks ago and it hasn't rebooted since
