Hello,

I'm pro user of AdGuard for almost one year. I've been using it with Webroot Antivirus both the latest version until recently on windows 11 latest version without any problem. But nowadays if Webroot is activated AdGuard doesn't work, can't open. Moreever all the icons on taskbar including windows start menu doesn't respond till I uninstall Adguard. I really like booth softwares. Any solution? Thanks in advance.

Hi

Try adding AdGuard to Webroot exceptions.
I tried it. But nothing changed. Useless. After I install Adguard while Webroot is active Adguard gets disabled automatically and turn its icon on system tray grey and no internet access for my browser Vivaldi and all the icons on taskbar don't respond until I remove AdGuard. There must be a way but till now Adguard doesn't give any solution. Still waiting...

I was using adguard and webroot together in my office pc until today without any problem. Today I tried to uninstall and reinstall it. The same problem happened in that PC as well. I don't use these two softwares together anymore there too. Why? Could you look remotely to my pc and see what the problem is?

Hi guys,

Me too, user of Webroot + AdGuard from several years, my problem started with the new version of Webroot 9.0.31.84 with AdGuard 7.7

All my browser (Google Chrome, Edge, Firefox) doesn't respond, web page doesn't load.

If I uninstall Adguard, it resolve the issue and all browser load immediately the web page as usual

I tried to make Adguard in exception from Webroot , but it didn't resolve the issue

I have this problem on my 2 Window 10 PC (all browser updated to the latest version)

Thanks and have a nice day

I wrote this issue to Adguard. They suggested to arrange a few settings inside Adguard but it didn't help. The suggestions above this topic also, didn't help. I wrote here https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/3958 and I did send a mail containing debug log, but no returning until now. Thus I had to uninstall Adguard even I paid for it an I like it. Antivirus is more important then Add guarding. I wait for solution from AdGuard...

Hi guys,

From the Webroot community forum , I send a support ticket as per suggested, I wait some response from Webroot.

My post from webroot community

But I believe it's a Webroot side problem not related to Adguard, Yesterday, I tried other security suite with Adguard and every worked smoothly.

Will see...

Ouch, I see...

For me, problem is part of life, the most important is how we handle and resolve it...hope that Webroot will go in a positive way...

I feel that Webroot is more concerned on their business customer than the home individual...All the new stuff , improvement and fun is for the business side...

By example, I updated their new antivirus my Android devices, WTF...it's a browser...

I will still give a chance, but if Webroot forgot me, I will forgot too...

And I keep my Adguard license, internet is now a mess with all the scrap and noise...Adguard give me a real value

Have a nice day

I see.
On the other side, Adguard haven't found a solution as well till now. It's I don't know exactly since I'm COVID infected, it's more than ten days. They wrote somewhere in a mail to me or here in forum that they'd been dealing with the issue, but no result till now. Hope they don't ignore this issue. I used to use webroot and adguard together for more than a year in a piece:) They were enough for me to protect and to feel protected. O AdGuard please hear me! Do you?

Thank you dude for your good wish. I feel more better today. This the first time that I turned on my PC since I wrote. It's odd that neither AdGuard nor Webroot do nothing. If you have any sign towards solution you can share here. Thank you. Stay safe.

Looking at the GitHub issue, it looks like the issue has been assigned to AG for Windows v7.8. Though, I suspect it's something that Webroot will have to fix on their end as well.

It's going to take time regardless, I'm guessing it's not an easy fix.

Hi Guys,

Ok somes news,

I hang off with the Webroot escalation team, and we was able to reproduce the problem.

We think that the trouble may how the new version of the Webroot Window agent handle the network after a reboot or a computer sleep and that could interfere with Adguard.

For now , we downgraded my Window PC to a older version 9.0.30.75 to work alongside with Adguard and everything is ok now

Webroot team are aware of this issues and they will work on a fix on a futur version (no ETA for now)

It's the farest that I can go for now, I will see for the futur.

Thanks and have a nice day

Hi,

When I was trying to sort out this issue, I found that killing and restarting adguard resulted in adguard working, as did the browsers. A reboot, open a browser , go to just about any URL and the problem ecurred.
So Adguard would work if it was started after webroot. I set the adguard service to a delayed start and so far so good. multiple reboots and testing and the problem seems to be solved.
