Update on the 1fichier.com problem:

Switched to the WFP driver to see what this did and got this message within a few seconds of initiating an upload:

Secure Connection Failed

An error occurred during a connection to up2.1fichier.com. SSL peer reports incorrect Message Authentication Code. Error code: SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_ALERT

The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

Tried to upload a second file and exactly the same thing happened.

Recap of the 1fichier.com trouble:

-Reset upon finalizing upload happens in both FF and IE
-Reset occurs both when logged in and logged out
-Reset doesn't happen on Nitroflare
-Switching to WFP results in error shortly after initializing upload

As to the crashing GUI problem: it happened to me again this morning. As I said in my previous message, the Nvidia driver is probably not involved here, since it is the Intel driving my laptop screen. Also the graphic driver hasn't crashed the way the Nvidia sometimes did when Adguard's GUI caused me trouble.

Let me know if you need logs or anything else to troubleshoot these issues.

Sadly this version doesn't contain updated languages :(

You should already know, but for others - the updated translation should be added in the next release.

Did an upload in IE and exactly the same thing happened. It disconnected as soon as the upload finished and gave a "page cannot be displayed" warning. Were you logged in at 1fichier.com when you uploaded that file? Maybe it only happens when one is logged in?
Yes, I was logged in.

What exactly filters do you have enabled? Any Stealth Mode options?

What if you disable all the filters and Stealth Mode, but leave the protection on?

I think we have to create a task about it:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/1039

I will let you know once the developer asks for logs or any other information.

Vasily,

For filters, see my signature.
For stealth, I think I use the defaults, but see screenshot:

I just disabled all filters and stealth mode and uploaded a file but the results were the same, connection was reset.

Thanks for creating the task for the GUI problem.

Maybe I misinterpreted your words. I have a fear I might be doing something different from you, as I am not familiar with 1fichier.com at all. Could you please record a short video where I can see the reproduction of the problem? Thank you in advance!

Vasily,

I'd be glad to do so. But I have never done this, could you explain how I could make such a video?

By the way, I tried uploading a file today with Adguard closed and the connection was not reset after the upload finished, so it looks like it is really Adguard causing this.

Hi Vasily,

Here are two videos in which I upload the same short MP3 to 1fichier.com, once with Adguard closed and once with Adguard running.

With Adguard closed, the browser takes you to a new 1fichier page telling you that the file has finished uploading.
With Adguard running, you are taken to that same page, but the connection gets reset immediately.

Videos were made with the Icecream recorder. I hope you can play these!

I think the guru3D not fully loading is some filters incompatibility issue, as it happens always. http://forums.guru3d.com/forumdisplay.php?f=46

For other websites I was unable to find any pattern. 95% of times websites load correctly, so it's huge improvement. In rare cases loading circle spins for couple minutes while webpages seems to be loaded, even so simply ones like http://forums.sandboxie.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=22660

http://www.sadistic.pl/
full of images and videos loads fine.

Try disabling filters one-by-one and reload the site. See if you can narrow it down to a specific filter.

I see now, I was doing different thing on a different page. However, when I performed all the steps from your video, I still didn't get such error as you did.

Have you tried reinstalling the certificate for Firefox (an button in 'general settings' in Adguard)? Maybe it will help.

Vasily,

Yes, I have tried that. Strange that you don't see the same thing. For me it started with the previous beta (the one before 6.0.224.1092). I will download and install the latest version and do the reinstall thing again. You never know. I'll get back to you tomorrow.

Vasily,

I might as well get back to you now. Installed the latest version 6.0.226.1108 and the problem has gone away! I did excactly what you saw me doing in those videos, did not reinstall the certificate, but a new 1fichier page showed up as soon as the file was uploaded and there was no connection reset. I'll try a few more uploads tomorrow, but it seems like the problem is solved.

Just uploaded a few more files: problem is definitely fixed now.

They're still working on the new WFP driver. Development hasn't stopped - they're still working on Adguard for Windows towards the 6.1 milestone.

As for the Edge extensions, yes it does... however as far as I know the SDK to develop Edge extensions hasn't been publicly released yet.
