When I run it it tells me to uninstall my current version. Will I lose my settings and custom filters if I do this?

There is a critical bug there, every time protection starts it generates a new root cert.

I will hotfix it in 10 minutes.

Downgrading caused sites to give me untrusted messages. I finally restored a disk image I recently took and all is working fine with the previous beta.

Version 5.10.2013.6276 is available, fixing the issue with cert generation every time you start the protection.

Just tried the latest Kaspersky Internet Security 2015 build (15.0.2.361) and looks like there's some issues with the WFP driver and HTTPS sites not loading in Chrome (e.g. Gmail). Heh, seems like we go through these issues at least once a year! Kaspersky, stop breaking stuff!

I'm investigating further. I'll post more as I figure stuff out.

EDIT: Updated to 15.0.2.361(a) and still HTTPS sites have issues loading in not just Chrome, but all other browsers. Seems like its worse.

EDIT 2: Yep, looks like KIS 2015 + WFP driver causes really, really bad issues. TDI driver seems to be fine... thus far.

EDIT 3: Looks like KIS 2015 is the cause of this issue. But it's also happening to Magoo with the TDI driver too, need to see if it can be reproduced.

Even with Kaspersky gone still getting many Connections Errors especially on the help desk site.


Updated to tonight's beta, problems seems worse, can't even connect to the help desk site.

New Certificate is properly installed now , only once this time.

No Anti-Virus or Anti-malware Installed on the Machine.

Ran CCleaner and cleaned everything.

Also Uninstalled and reinstalled Adguard newest Beta.

No change, Secure Connection failed https://kb.adguard.com/index.php?


Just tried Chrome for the 1st time with Adguard works perfect, so definitely a Firefox problem.

Found the problem, This Addon https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/roomy-bookmarks-toolbar/ as soon as I disabled it, everything worked normally, had no problems on the help desk site at all. Re-enabled it and wham couldn't even get the help desk to load.

I wonder could this be fixed, I really like that addon!

Possible Bug found, When I open Firefox my startup page https://www.google.ca/shows the green icon, once I refresh it the icon goes blue. Same is happening when I open Gmail, I have to refresh the tab or ctrl-f5 to get it to go blue. Other Sites seem fine.

Cyberfox has no problems with the same start page, but I also have to refresh Gmail to get the icon blue.

No AV installed while testing this.

I also installed KAV 2015 instead of KIS and Connection problems came back, even after adding exclusions.

Will Reinstall KIS again and report back.

Fixed the Icon not turning blue in Firefox and occasionally in Cyber Fox when starting up by downgrading to browser extension 2.04 from 2.05

Still have the gmail problems where the icon won't turn blue unless I refresh the page, if I dont I get a either a green icon with a 1 , or grey icon.

I'm still getting connection problems, the only fix I have found so far is to close adguard completely, and then re-enable it , wait 30 seconds and then problem goes away, and the page works fine (Adguard help desk in this case) Any work around for this problem?

Well I'm outta here guys, I will get to reinstalling AV tomorrow!

Shouldn't influence AG icon color though. It is ok that it does not become blue on first request, due to some bugs Firefox sometimes does not call extension api methods for startup pages.

That's strange, I can't reproduce this issue and also I can't understand how such addon may influence SSL filtering.

Argh, I think know what is the problem. This beta can be breaking DNS requests.

We've finished testing with KIS. The problem is their SSL filtering, our SSL filtering with WFP driver can't work along with their and that issue does not seem to be fixed soon.

For now we will use TDI driver by default if KIS is in use.

Unfortunately not working fine here. Still getting connection errors in Firefox with 6286.

I have No AV installed, Made a clean Firefox Profile with cert and extension installed and problem still persists.

Strange thing is that the log is clean.
I see that kb.adguard.com is filtered and that means that everything is good with the certificate.

Could you please show a screenshot of this "Connection error" that you have?
