There will be a hotfix update available soon.

Do you remember which task exactly?

PS: Guys, I am currently on short vacations (actually for a couple of days already). I'll try to be in touch, though, but the internet here is rather meh:(.
Nope, it was one of the listed tasks in the changelog.

just installed the latest beta and it seems to run fine on my machine next to comodo internet security. no slowdowns whatsoever. this build is a tad faster than the previous version , which is a good thing. edit : after the upgrade finished I have noticed that the extensions had been deactivated , the rest of my settings wher in tact.

This latest beta is working great here as well, and I must say I like the new layout of Filtering Log and Filter Editor. Keep up the great work! Thanks!

In the assistant element blocking window, the "min" and "max" positions of the frame size slider ought to be swapped around. Or better: invert the action of the slider. The way things are now, frames become larger when you move the slider to "min" and vice versa.

Honestly, we've tried to take most of your and @Phonemes notes into account.

Copy/paste - check
No extra click to see the URLs - check
Make it easier to resize sidebar - check
Make it easier to hide details pane (just second click on the selected row) - check
Make it possible to not open details pane at all (record context menu is here now) -- check
Export/import log records -- we can now ask people to record log, export it and share the resulting file with us.

Less bloat - we moved some of the fields to the Network tab, the other fields seem rather "general". It would much better if you describe in detail what you consider "bloat" there.

Regarding the user filter window, I seem to recall in previous versions when opening it, it'd scroll down to the bottom to the last rule. Now when you open the user filter, it starts at the beginning which is kinda annoying when actively testing/adding new rules. Can an option to scroll down to the bottom when opening be doable? Maybe as an advanced setting?

Also hotkeys support, e.g. Home key to scroll to the top, End key to scroll to the bottom, PgUp, PgDn, etc. might be useful as well.

Also, honestly, some sort of "quickly add rule to the user filter" function would be nice so we wouldn't have to open the user filter window to add new rules. Example could be, we click on the Assistant and one of the options is something along the lines of "Quickly add filter rule" which we can then copy and paste in. It *could* be amended to allow us to highlight rules via the mouse (like rules posted here on the forums in the code tag), then use said function to add rules without copying and pasting manually.

Some more ideas.

It's also be nice if the Assistant itself had hotkeys support; think Adblock Plus with the Element Hiding Helper extension. When the element blocking portion of the Assistant is open, it could also display a menu like this;

Q for quit selection would be VERY useful, so we can quickly exit the Assistant/element blocking window without needing to click the Xs.

Finally, an option to disable clicking on links while the Assistant/element blocking window is open would be AMAZING. One of the fatal flaws with the Assistant is when we're trying to block elements, but clicking on an element to block accidently clicks on whatever is linked to is. It's VERY annoying. Hotkeys mentioned above (especially S for select/block element) might help workaround this issue.

Sorry for the late reply.

The complete new right side is bloat. I still can't see what rule blocked a following request on a first view when another request is selected. Also I can't hide that new panel completely. Old layout was better for users who want to see the necessary information they require and don't need additional elements which were introduced since beta of 6.2.
Also I still can't highlight text in main element, only in that new sidebar.

Applied rules are not highlightable and therefore we lost a feature since final version. I only can export it into some json file, but I don't want to save a file, I want specific rules into clipboard and not all rules.

Everytime I start the filter editor via Tray I get an annoying window "Preparing filter editor".

@Blaz @Alex302 @seanl

Guys, I have an idea and need your feedback on it. One of the issues is how we represent elements removed from the page content.

What if we have a separate log entry for every element removed from the page content?

Something like that:
Code:
| Name | Type |  Rule | Process | Source |
| yahoo.com | HTML | Content filtered | chrome.exe | |
| <script src="||example.org^" | Script | ||example.org^ | chrome.exe | yahoo.com |
Details pane (or the old simple panel whatsoever) might show the details including element contents.

Thoughts?

In this case we can get rid of "Applied rules" section and simply move the triggered rule text in the section above.

Looks good to me as long as the name section is containing the full url path which got blocked and is highlightable to copy it. So one can copy the complete line of it or only parts of it (user's choice).

Behind content filtered there should be a column to show the origin of the rule, e.g. English filter.

Not just URL. I think in the case of an element removed by $$ rule, it should contain the whole element content (ok, not the name column, but we can show the whole contents in the details pane).
