Hello,

I recently started using AdGuard for Windows. I have noticed, AG completely slows down the website load speed. This is mostly noticable on the facebook website. Is there any fix / recommendation for this?

I have attaced loading time I collected using the dev tool from the firefox browser.

Cannot reproduce when viewing my feed. Do you use any filters which are using extended CSS rules which target the feed (and not right sidebar)?

I am not using any custom filter / css. I just enabled all the filters that comes with AdGuard (not just the default one). Please. have a look.

Please only enable filters with "AdGuard" in its name and check again.

Won't it make some ads go through? Does "AdGuard*" filter cover all the scopes?
The AdGuard filters don't cover all 'scopes', i believe what Blaz is trying to run you though is a process so he can elimanate the non AdGuard supported filters, it's up to you if you want to follow through on that process.

Fwiw, these forums can seem a bit odd at times but it's an international forum and we either adapt or we don't get answers ;)

Thank you for your reply. I was tring to figure out what was causing the issue. If I disable most of the rules it will surely speed up the loading time as there is less things to filter.

Anyway, I think I got the message. Have a great day :)

Enabling all filters will cause you nothing but issues, thus it's not recommended. Not only can enabling all filters slow down web browsing, it greatly increases the chances of having false positives and broken sites.

I'd recommend only using the following filters; AdGuard Base filter, AdGuard Tracking Protection filter, AdGuard URL Tracking filter and the AdGuard Annoyances filter.

I have the same problem with Facebook and the Chrome extension. Facebook is very slow. Disable Adguard and it's back to normal. I only use the basic filter.
