AdGuard messing up Googles SSL on Firefox

This is only occuring on Firefox, not on Chrome or on Opera. I have tried both Firefox 30 and also the newer 31 and it happens on both.

But Adgaurd is causing when I go to either google search or Gmail it is blocking my access to them due to a "this connection is untrusted" error

Here are the details for what is the basis of the error

"mail.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because no issuer chain was provided. (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)"

If I disable Adguard protection it works again so its definitely Adguard causing this.

Is there a fix for this?

Yes, this is due to Firefox's handling of certificates and the situation when Adguard fails to import its certificate (e.g. like Firefox was open when installing Adguard). The easiest way to fix this is by doing the following;

1) Close Firefox.
2) Open Adguard and click the Protection is enabled button to disable filtering, then wait 30 seconds.
3) Re-enable filtering by pressing the button again and wait another 30 seconds.
4) Open Firefox again and try a HTTPS site.
