AdGuard Pro - No ad blocking outside of Safari

I purchased and installed Adguard Pro on a 6s plus in hopes of having ad blocking in apps and browsers other than Safari. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be working as intended after activating the DNS feature through the app and selecting the default server. It doesn't block ads in any apps or browsers outside of Safari and adds no ad blocking beyond what was available in the free version.

Can anyone offer a suggestion to get the app to work?

Thanks in advance.

Hello @Knix!

Which apps exactly are ads not blocked in? Unfortunately, in some apps Adguard DNS is not able to block ads, the most known are Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

The two apps not mentioned above that I've noticed it doesn't work in are chrome and words with friends.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat like Knix, the app that I want to use is opera mini for ios. What can I do? I specifically bought pro so that I can use it with Opera.

We had an issue with DNS servers recently, it took about 1 hour to resolve it.

Should be good now.
