I once used Adguard in trial and unistalled it when the 14 days where over. Now I wanted to see , if version 5.9 has solved the problem I had. But the install does not work . What can I do to install version 5.9 ?

This is because you've used up all trial days during your first install. Meaning when you reinstalled, there is no second trial available. This is (probably) done to curve possible piracy (e.g. endless trial that can be reset) and thus the only way to use Adguard (unless you reformat Windows and start a new trial that way) is to purchase a license.

I think buying a license would not change anything. If I can not install the program there is no place to put in the license code.Beside that I still dont know if the CPU problem is solved.

Hello!

What do you mean by "install does not work"?
Could you give us a detailed description of your problem?

The easiest way to install Adguard is to run standard installer: http://adguard.com/download.html
The other way - run "raw" windows installer package: http://static.adguard.com/5/setup.msi

I don't think any of us understand what we should be looking at on that link for 5.9's release notes. Nonetheless you should be able to still run Adguard after the trial is over - it'll just prompt you for a license. Also, the CPU issue you mention is the high usage when downloading large files and/or on startup? If so, yes, those have been fixed in 5.9.

I guess there is a problem with install, not usage.

But we need some details to troubleshoot it.

Could stem from trying to install a .msi file - in the past I've had issues installing .msi beta builds as they'd try running without administrator privileges and error out telling you you need to run it as an administrator which by default you can't for some .msi files (there's no run as administrator option when right clicking .msi files - you'd have to install them from the command prompt). Fortunately there's a simple registry fix to show run as administrator for .msi files. :D

Or you could run cmd.exe as administrator and run msi from command line.

Indeed. Hopefully that's what the issue is in this user's case, as it should be easy to address.

I use the installer, download the program, click 4 time ok and the installer says it is installed. But there is nothing installed. I guess this is no accident. Once installed You can not install the program again.

Ummm, that shouldn't be happening at all actually. Did you try using the .msi installer link Avatar posted?

This is not normal behavior.

Could you please send us installer log files?
They are located in %tmp% folder (all files with name starting with "Adguard").

I am sorry for all these troubles.

As an excuse I've generated you a premium 2-year 2-computer license.
You can use it as you wish.
