Ads during videos

Hello, i am using adguard's extension for chrome.
I dont have any problems with youtube (can watch any video without being interrupted by ads), but on facebook it seems that adguard is not doing anything (in real its blocking "normal" ads, since i can not see any sponsored posts).

Any idea?

I live in japan, so i am using the japanese list too. But if its a problem about lists, it should be a problem on youtube too and not only facebook...

I had similar problems with different adblocks, but the other ones didnt have any japanese list (while this one have it)

Its not a specific video... Its any video i watch, for example:

but as i said, its just an example. Usually at about half video i get a commercial.

EDIT: actually its not any video it seems but it will start randomly. I had a commercial for sure on this video before, but now its not starting.

Ok i had one right now on this video at 1:05

Tried a lot of videos with Japanese VPN and my real IP and cannot reproduce any ads before real video starts :(

Actually my other friends in japan too do not have any issue... It is just me.
I also tried a different desktop (on same network) and it has the same problem...

I do not know if it may depends on it but i am using a network with ipv6

Is it possible that it is related on my provider then?

Oh and just to be clear, the ads start after i watch the video and some time has passed (if i just skip the timeline it will not start). Its not before it starts (like youtube for example).

No ads here either.

You might be one of the unlucky ones though, Google has been randomly targeting accounts to receive the newer types of ads.

Well as long there is a reason for it, i can live with it ^^"

I am smashing my head over it for days... There is no any other way to see if some software has having conflits with something?

Apart from other apps, extensions AD-blocker and antivirus, I can't see it.
But, Google work hard for bypass AD-blocker.

But its really so weird that only me have this issue... But has Boo Berry said, if i am "the one" it sucks :(

Just in case: i am using AVG has antivirus, about the extensions i doubt it is a problem cause i have the same issue with firefox (which is 100% without extentions except adguard).
I just have to give up i guess?

When I had the same problem, with youtube, there was nothing to do, then it left as it came, probably tests before the big launch. If this really bothers you, you can test other AD-blockers even if the general opinion is in this forum, is against. For more info, look this topic.

I have the same problem with other ad-blockers too. Same problem with adblock and ublock.
Actually ublock sometimes is not able to block normal sponsors posts, so i find adguard better.

What i should try is to use another network but its not so handy to move a desktop in another place ^^"

Eventually, ads on YouTube will become "unblockable", which means no ad blocker can block them because they'll be embedded into the videos and served from the same domain(s) video content is served from (which they already are).

In the future, not sure if it's going to happen sooner or later, the only way to remove YouTube ads will be a YouTube Premium subscription. If you watch a lot of YouTube videos, you might consider going this route and treating it like another streaming service subscription like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, etc.

I think we've all taken for granted the years of ad-free YouTube, but Google obviously sees the writing on the wall, they're going to have to prevent ad blockers from working so they can generate revenue to keep the service going because from what I've read, it's not a sustainable model.
