AG Safari vs AG Home

I'm using AdGuard Home on my home network, and it works great. However, I'm having issues with Google sponsored ads being display despite having 'Unblock search ads' off, and AdGuard Annoyances enabled.

Therefore, I had installed AG Safari to block browser level ads, but it's not effective at all. Google ads still appear despite adding it to custom filters using the block element feature, and having the correct filters enabled.

Now, I'm just wondering if AdGuard for Safari and AdGuard Home are just the same thing in the way work?

AdGuard for Home can only block on DNS level aka no element hiding.

In Safari AdGuard content blockers must be enabled.
