APP-specific white list

    In some cases, APP will be malfunction under VPN tunneling.
    Thus, I would like that some app being not filtered by Adguard.
    I see Adguard support domain name based white-list, but there's no app-specific white-list.

    In Adguard for Android 1.2 we will introduce a built-in firewall where any app can be adjusted separately, including complete filtration disabling.

    Is Android 2 still in process or have been updated to?

    It is not Adguard 2.0 yet, but the firewall is already done in the ebta, you can find it in Adguard's settings.

    Installed beta version, everything seems great.
    Does the firewall shows all traffic or "mobile traffic" only. For most condition, wi-fi are free. Thus, mobile traffic is much more important.

    I found two small bugs. It seems translated into Chinese, because the app and notify bar shows Chinese Simplify sometimes.
    (I came from Taiwan, where Chinese Traditional are spoken.)

    Occasionally, Adguard stops working when internet goes down , either because of poor signal or "battery saver function" made by smart phone manufacturer, and stay disabled while network comes back.

    Yes, it is translated to Chinese Simplified. So, do you mean we shouldn't show Chinese Simplified in case of Chinese Traditional locale/

    That's intentional. AG should restart VPN on every network reconnection to properly set it up.

    I'll take a screenshot when it happen. AG showed English+Chinese together. lol

    Um... I mean sometimes AG didn't restart VPN even network was reconnected. There was a notification icon said "Pause" while network was reconnected.
    I'll take a screenshot when it happen, too.

    Next time could you please send a message to support from the app?
    I'd like to see what's wrong in AG log file.

    Sure! It doesn't happen very often. I'm trying to reproduce the bug.

    This bug can be reproduce by following steps.
    1. Turn-on airplane mode. All connections are gone and AG goes paused.
    2. Turn-off airplane mode. The network is bace (in my case, it is 4G/LTE). But AG still remain paused.

    This may happen when the accidentally lost the connection. For example, entering an elevator, leaving the wifi area.

    That's weird. I didn't use any tethering function. Just turn-on/off airplane mode.
    Anyway, ag8045 seems work well.
