UPDATE: CLONE GIST OVER HTTPS (Copy entire Blacklist to Clipboard). Above the gist is an EMBED option. If you click on it you will be given other options. Choose Clone over HTTPS. Then click on the clipboard icon to the right of the given link. That will copy the Blacklist for you. Paste it directly into Adguard PRO's DNS Blacklist or paste it onto a .txt file first if you want to edit the list before using it. Look for an update within the next three days, as well as seperate, smaller lists you can choose to use in any combination that best suits your needs.

@user3

I am a little new to this blacklist thing. Do I copy the txt link to blacklist or do I open the text file and copy the list inside completly?

I'm kind of new to this as well but after I was able to import all those addresses I was having problems with apps like youtube bringing up content.

*update* Saw your other post and read my log posts. Decided to go with your AGO_DOMBL.txt as t does not blacklist all google ads which keeps Youtube up and running although with ads. Thanks @user3 for sharing your lists.

Having some issues with the list from github. I managed to download the txt. file but when I opened it says 404. I'm sure I'm missing something here.

It's just a couple of days left until AG Pro 2.0 release. You'll be able to set it up to have local system-wide ad blocking.

Version 2 looks very interesting. But it did not help to block ads within iOS applications.

Below 2 snapshots from 9To5Mac iOS app
One with Adguard 2 - the ad is still present
One with PerfectPrivacy - the ad disappeared

Im using ver.2, in testing just the DNS, I have no ads in apps. Using DNS and filters-no ads in apps. Using custom filter subscription testing.VOID, Adaway default subscription with default DNS...everything is blocked. Its is working better than advertised on a 7+ running 11.3 beta 4 with Pia VPN. The only time it doesnt is when I disable Adguard, or if I make a change without turning off Adguard first, or going into airplane mode to flush the DNS after it is turned back on.

The Filters I am using are the ones from my signature. The app is 9to5Mac. I have the same issue on my iPad.

Please try to add this domain to white list of DNS filtering:
Code:
nineto5mac-d.openx.net

Sorry, Siri is not always very good in understanding everything you say. I was dictating the message while I was driving :)

@Alex302

Can you please explain why it has to be added to Whitelist and not the Black one which was logic for me?
Does,it mean if I want to block something I should add it,to the Whitelist?

Thankw

That domain must be unblocked. So it was added to white list. Black list is for blocking.
