Bartender on macOS loses ability to control the AdGuard menu bar item

I use Bartender under macOS. Past, non beta/nightly versions haven't suffered this, fwiw. But, with current nightly versions, Bartender loses control of the item. Restarting both Bartender and/or AdGuard does not resolve the problem. As with the onboarding (see other thread) this goes away after I remove everything via AppCleaner and re-install.

You should try to reinstall AdGuard App using Advanced instructions.

Are you using Big Sur Beta? There is a new Bartender 4 Beta, which might solve the issue. It has a new way of organizing the menu bar and also supports some triggers. Details: https://www.macbartender.com/Bartender4/

I wasn't, but I am now and the new Bartender is pretty nice too... so we're all good now.
