Blocked sites by ISP not accessable under Proxy Mode with NordVPN.

Hi there,

I'm trying to get Adguard to work with NordVPN under proxy mode. The proxy server adblocker works with unblocked sites however I'm facing issues with blocked sites being unaccessible even with the proxy on. My DNS addresses were leaking so I fixed the issue by using NordVPN DNS in app and it appears to be gone however I still can't access blocked sites. Any solutions?

My workaround is to use NordVPN TCP servers with Adguard under HTTP mode but I keep getting a lot of disconnects for some reason. On stock note 8 running oreo

That's strange, can you try to set up NordVPN as SOCKS5 proxy following this article and check if this will change the situation. (AdGuard should be turned to VPN filtering method).

I used VPN mode in all those tests. My real IP is somehow leaking even if SOCKS5 proxy and encrypted DNS is set correctly according to ipleak.com tests.

Note, that Android can allow only one VPN connection at a time. Follow the instruction I've provided to you and check again. About IP leaking - seems like there is a conflict with your VPN apps, as I can see AdGuard is paused on the video (and not working).

I'm aware of that so I tried to demonstrate that AG doesn't bypass blocked sites when it's on in the video. Anyway, I rebooted the phone and forced stopped all non essential apps including nordvpn and I got the same results, proxy and adblock is working but it doesn't bypass ISP filtering. Oh I forgot to add none of the my ISP DNS showed up in the IP leaks test. My current workaround is to use NordVPN TCP servers and use AG under proxy mode. It works but it's a hassle to reconnect once I'm out of range.
