Bug on downloading K-Lite Mega Codec Pack [WIN]

Hello,

I report this bug about K-Lite Mega Codec Pack. If I want to download every version of this software from all of the sites in which it is hosted, I had to disable Adguard temporary and download the file. After the download, I can re-enable the protection.

You really need to provide links to the sites really, the first site i visited for the codec pack i had no problem. Ok thats a white lie the first 4 download links were dead the 5th and 6th worked.

Admittedly the site also says "Remember to deselect the adware which comes with the application during installation process." so that could be a reason why adguard is blocking it?

Can i ask why you are downloading that codec pack? Im curious as i have not downloaded that in some years now as i just download VLC Player as its easier and less hassle.

I use www.codecguide.com and for all of mirrors I have problem. Check for yourself

Please try disabling filters one-by-one to see if a specific filter is the cause.

I have tried to disable one by one the filters (no result)
I have disabled both phishing and malware filters (no result)
I have disabled all the browser extensions (no result)
I have disabled all of this items (no result)
I disabled Adguard Protection (it worked)

I don't understand. I have the same issue even with downloading vlc media player.

If I don't disable Adguard, browsers keep going trying to download the software.

Ah, sorry, I should have read your signature first.

I see that you use F-Secure. There's a compatibility issue between our WFP drivers causing that bug.
Switching to TDI is not an option in your case, it won't work for IE11 and Edge.

We are working on fixing this, but it will be great if you report this bug to F-Secure too.
