Hi Team,

I just wanted to request if its possible to implemet something like this so that we can block ads withou the need of jailbreaking the iOS devices.

This used to be called LUNA VPN once you install this from below link and then enable Certificate trust settings in Settings>General>Certificate trust settings
here is the WebPage - https://emban-networks.com/

it effective Blocks Youtube Ads completely.
I have tested this ... It WORKS
the issue with this is that this company has strange privacy policy and they actually use our data for analytics purposes.

is it possible to implement something like this >?

Thanks and Regards

Hello there!
The fact is that AdGuard does not have access to other applications. Therefore, it is not possible to implement this function.

Buddy, you're in the wrong section, it's iOS version I was talking about
It's been a while but I think that's why I said "Android version" just to let you know which version I was talking about. On the google play store, they call it Luna -- Best VPN for Android, not a word about ad blocking except in the comments where people talk about how the adblocking is not working anymore. I can only talk about the Android version, as I only have an Android phone. I have had a paid VPN and have tested a few free ones. When a VPN is working correctly you should see a substantial reduction in speed. with Luna, you get no reduction in speed. With Luna, you get no adblocking in the popular apps they talk about. When I went to https://whatismyipaddress.com/ I got my IP address that means the VPN is not working.
There is also something strange about who the developer is "ST Advance" when you click on that ST Advance you see that they clam two apps, and they have a web site SensorTower, there you can see what type of data they are collecting and selling to there customers. I sent them feedback through the app about how their app was broken they did not respond like they said they would, so after a week I went ahead and uninstalled it. It does not bother me that they are collecting info on what apps I have installed, how often I use them, or how long I use them, but to say they are a VPN and for it not to work. To show on the emban-networks.com that it blocks ads on YouTube, Pandora, and Spotify, and it is not doing that in the Android version.
Here is what tomsguide had to say.

Until now luna is only which can block ads in youtube app. I dont understand that adguard do not work similary. Now luna does not need an app, they install via trust certificate and then connecting via vpn. I think Adgurad team always better than Luna team in maitain and update sever. Hope we have adguard for blocking youtube app in near future.

Luna was also caught selling and harvesting your data, that's why apple removed it from the app store.

It is not safe giving apps root access, short and simple.
