[Solved]CCleaner and AdGuard: Adguard stops working & The Number Badge vanishes

    Hi Adguard team!

Every time I run Ccleaner, it somehow messes up the Adguard extension of my latest chrome.

    - Adguard ceases to function properly,
    - The number of ads blocked badge disappears too

The only way to make it work is to remove and install the extension again ( every time, and also reconfigure the adguard setting allover:rolleyes:)

any workaround or solutions to this? Could i exclude a path from CCleaner cleaning etc?

Thank you for your efforts and this slick extensions:)

I'm tempted to say that this a 'red herring'. I have CCleaner and have used it for years. I have no such issues as you describe and, quite honestly, I can't see how CCleaner would do what you say - there is no entry in CCleaner for Chrome extensions and any 'full' application that is being cleaned by CCleaner can be excluded by simply removing a tick from the relevant check box. Can we have a screenshot of your CCleaner setup including any custom paths you might be cleaning?

    Hello!

Have you send the message to CCleaner devs?

I think they should know about this too.

Do you use CCEnhancer? Please post analyze log for Chrome cleaning (right click on Chrome in CCleaner window)

Thank you for response. Solved the issue.;)

for the benefit of others who face the same issue as I do :

Untick 'Chrome html5 storage' and 'logs' under Google Chrome in Ccleaner prior to cleaning and presto!

Thank you for responding to my issue. Adguard is a cool extension

I am totally perplexed - I have the latest version of CCleaner and do not have 'Chrome html5 storage' and 'logs' anywhere under Google Chrome! Which version do you have Dawnz? Has it been added manually by someone?
