Chrome 69 and AdGuard 6.4 beta issues

I am now using 6.4.1544.4363 (beta) and it does not seem to work with the latest version of Chrome, version: 69.0.3497.92 (Official Build) (64-bit)

I have to completely un-check Chrome in the Filtered Apps section of the software in order for Chrome to load pages. Otherwise, no pages will load, and eventually time out. I have tested this over the last week, and get the same result each time I re-enable Chrome on the Filtered Apps section.

Definitely not seeing that here with Chrome 69.0.3497.92 64-bit and the latest AG for Windows 6.4 nightly build. My guess is it could be a possible incompatibility with the Symantec antivirus software.

@EvilPeppard could you please tell us more about your computer configuration?

1. Windows version
2. Antivirus (and its version)
3. Any other network-level software?

Also, could you please try updating to the latest nightly version and rebooting the computer just in case?

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly.

Windows 10 Enterprise 1803
Symantec Endpoint Protection version 14, RU1 MP1

I also have MalwareBytes Premium 3.5.1, and Acronis True Image 2019 with Active Protection. Both of these products have been running on my system for quite some time.

The issue with Chrome and me having to turn off in the Filtered Apps just started last week, the week of 9/10/2018.

I will be happy to update to the latest nightly version. Could you please verify the link to the latest nightly version so I can download? I did a quick search for 'nightly' and 'nightly version, but don't see anything.

Thanks again!

Well, part of the issue could have been that Windows was waiting to install updates. When I went to restart my computer, I had the 'update and restart' option. In my experience, pending Windows updates can sometimes interfere with other software's behavior and stability until the Windows update is complete.

I have now rebooted, and am running AdGuard version 6.4.1619.4513. I will see how Chrome and my other browsers behave, and report back as needed. So far, everything in Chrome appears to be working fine with the Chrome enabled (checked) in the AdGuard Filters Apps. I normally have about 50 tabs open, and they all just opened up fine after the reboot and update.

Thank you again for the quick replies, and substantive suggestions.
