Compatibility with Android Nougat

Is Adguard compatible with Android 7.1 yet? As I really hope that when I upgrade to Android 7.1 it doesn't make Adguard useless.

You mean 7.1, right? I've been running Adguard for Android on 6.1 Marshmallow for months now. :)

I guess the best way to find out if it works or not is just to try it and see. AFAIK, it *should* work fine on Nougat.

Yep, it is compatible, no issues running it on my new Pixel.

Offtopic: btw, guys, Pixel is awesome. Finally, the first Android that feels as fast and responsive as an iPhone:)

It has been running on my Android 7.1.1 for two months. Works smoothly so far. ;)

Hy all,
Did anyone notice a battery drain of adguard using Android 7?
I used it for more than 1 year with marshmallow and everything was fine. Now it's using as much as the screen.

Thanks for the link
I noticed difference between marshmallow and nougat basing effectively on system report.
Maybe on nougat Google changed the strategy of reporting.
Thanks again

@Laouer also maybe you simply run more apps or run the same apps more often so there is more traffic that goes through Adguard, which makes the system to think Adguard uses more battery resource.

As I haven't changed my way or frequency of using my phone, I was a little bit confused about the statistics reported.
Anyway I will try to do some tests using adguard and deactivating it for some weeks and let you know.

@Laouer ok, it isn't out of the realm of possibility that Adguard indeed drains battery, usually it can be detected by looking into apps' statistics in 'Apps management' tab in Adguard. If any app has way more saved bandwidth than you would expect, it is possible that there is some kind of 'loop' there: the app sends a request that is blocked by Adguard, the app sends it again immediately etc.
