connecting to rating.adguard.com

may i ask what is this thing.. i don't know why but when i installed adguard to my brand new OS intallation browsing seems very slow.. because of connecting to rating.adguard.com not closing connection ( very long to connect ).. i'm using palemoon and chrome default configuration. same issue.

sometimes it gives me 2-3 minutes to wait until it finished loading.

if i were to guess this ties in with WOT(Web Of Trust) that uses user reviews to indicate whether a site is malicious or not.

Are you sure connection is not closing now and this is not some temporary connectivity issues?

it is fast, if i open te link manually, i get a very fast response on browsing even on this forum,i assume it has the same server with the main page

nothing out of ordinary if you ask me... traceroute to russian actually most of europe from asia mostly because of routing most providers use

What driver do you use? If WFP -- try switching to TDI.
WFP had some troubles with connections closing (this was a long time ago, but who knows).

We will send the request to rating.adguard.com another way (through application) in new beta-version.
We'll release it on monday.
