    Hi.

After several issues I just found out the Adguard Family DNS is causing some serious issues on normal activities.
    For instance:
    1. Netamo weather module gets disconnected and cannot reconnect.
    2. Sonos Mixcloud does not work.

If you add Google DNS then everything is back to normal.
FYI it also works withb Adguard Default DNS.

Can you guys look into this matter.
    Thanks
    Bruno

    Hi,

I'd like to add a few issues concerning the AdGuard Standard/Family DNS - currently you are blocking and breaking:

    - YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/)
    - a few essential Apple network based Services (FaceTime, iCloud-Synchronization for Messages, sending of iMessages)

The only solution to make this services functional again is to change DNS entries to other servers.

    Best regards

    Ralph

    You can check it now.

    @Ralph Schreiber

Can you be so kind to provide the screenshot with the issue you describe?

Sorry, I can't, since you couldn't see anything useful on a screenshot regarding the problem. Currently using your DNS servers any connection attempt to YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/) is blocked ("server not reachable"), synchronization of Apples Messages App across devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) fails (you simply don't see any conversation updates on other devices), sending of iMessages in Apple Messages App fails (message is just not sent). FaceTime connection attempts to establish an audio or video chat fail ("Joe Smith is currently not available via FaceTime") . Connection attempts to the new Apple Book Store (iOS 12, macOS 10.14 Mojave) fail, it's just not displayed in Apples Books App. Connection attempts to Apples iCloud via Web (https://www.icloud.com/) fail, you get a connection error. Maybe there's more I don't notice at the moment...

If you change the DNS server entries to others than yours (e.g. DNS of the ISP, Google DNS or OpenDNS) any network based service is back to normal. This behavior is reproducible. I guess your DNS blocking filter is currently misconfigured, at least for Apple users in Germany!

    Best regards

    Ralph

Do you use IPv4 or IPv6 DNS addresses? Just tried with IPv4 and youtube.com is working fine here - can't test IPv6 atm.

I'm using good old IPv4. Just tested again on two different locations, with different ISPs (both in Germany): AdGuard DNS servers are reproducible breaking services as described by me above, even clicked search results by Google (https://www.google.com) aren't loaded anymore. With changing the DNS server entries - currently I'm using OpenDNS (208.67.222.222 /208.67.220.220) as an alternative solution - any network based service is immediately back to normal.

Sorry to say that, but I really assume a DNS filter config fuckup. Problems started end of last week, before AdGuard DNS Standard worked like a charm.
