In that case I will manually have to add the filter (that is already in the normal/full filter but not in the "optimized filter") to my User Filter's to resolve the issue, right?
There's no import option for User filter on iOS, and you can't possibly manually enter this many rules. Moreover, some rules simply will not work on iOS as they are not supported by content blocking API.

Also, what is done in the case of Android/Windows etc.?
As @avatar mentioned, Android uses optimized filters and can't use full ones. Windows app, on the other hand, already uses full filters.

In fact, it is not a normal situation. Usually, optimized filters are just enough for quality ad blocking, as all the excluded rules are either redundant or used very rarely.

If this is the case, we can fix it on our side.

Only three products use optimized filters:
1. Adguard for Android
2. Adguard for iOS
3. Adguard browser extension for Safari

The latter does it due to the content blocking API rules limit (you can't have more than 50k rules in a content blocker).

I understand that have to use optimized filters for Safari (iOS & Mac) due to the Content Blocking limit but why for Android. Is it to increase performance and speed?
Yes, Adguard for Android has no limitations like Safari extension, for example, so the only reason is to improve performance.

What's the status on this now that web extensions are supported? Will extended CSS selectors work in the upcoming version 4.3?

@gotitbro no, you won't unless you enable like 10 or so filters simultaneously.
Would it make my phone or adguard slower when i activate a lot of lists simultaneously? Especially when these have partially the same rules in side of them? I have probably 7 list enabled, better safe then sorry i thought, or is that the wrong approach?
