Message "to perform this operation all browsers will be automatically closed." on "Reinstall certificate" should only be displayed if a browser is currently open.
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/87

"Certificate successfully installed" should list the browsers where it got installed (+ version number).
That would be too hard to implement.

I've created a feature request, but we won't do it in this release:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/88

I'm using Eset :)
Try disabling SSL scan in ESET settings.

Andrey, is the new TDI/WFP drivers in this alpha? I'm also assuming if so, the Bitdefender WFP issue is also 'fixed'?
Should be fixed, but we have not tested it yet.

There is one more thing, we've implemented new injection alhorithm and I am not sure about it's compatibility with AVs.

Some time passed - filters were updated 2 hours ago and the value in both places was correct.
Now it shows 47 minutes in tray tooltip and 54 minutes in Adguard main window
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/89

Hmmm, actually that might be something that can be fixed in Adguard. I'm wondering if the icons are being upscaled from 16x16 to something like 24x24 or 32x32? If that's a case, a 24x24 and/or 32x32 icon set might be needed.
We supply all resolutions. The problem is in how Windows choose the resolution.

Maybe we should simply remove all lowres icons..

---------- Post added at 11:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:27 AM ----------

In the Filter Editor, if you left click the cog that's next to the + and - (for import/export rules and enable/disable rule) nothing happens but the menu appears when right clicking on it. So it seems like the menu trigger is bugged there - it *should* show the menu when left clicking on it.
Confirmed:

Is it normal to start having certificate problems like in prior v5 builds where Chrome says "Your connection is not private"?

Could you please tell more about it? How it looks like? Is there any way to reproduce this?

Not ok. Looks like a good time to test our new "Reinstall Certificate" function:)

Hi avatar,

is this bug fixed (text from the beta section of the forum):

"I see that you use F-Secure. There's a compatibility issue between our WFP drivers causing that bug.
Switching to TDI is not an option in your case, it won't work for IE11 and Edge"?

In the meantime, I already reported to F-Secure for the correction.

It should be fixed, we've made necessary changes to WFP driver in the current alpha.

switched on my Surface yesterday, it's the first settings page that don't scroll with fingers. it would also be nice if scroll bars were a bit more large when using Adguard on a touch screen.
for Andrey, a litlle enhancement for future revision.

is it possible to keep in mind about bandwith reduction mentioned here :

made some quick tests with the new alpha. :)

Adguard uninstalled :

View attachment 2990

Adguard 6 alpha 2, default settings :

View attachment 2991

Adguard 6 alpha 2, WFP disabled :

View attachment 2992

so performances seem to be a little worse, previous alpha restored full bandwith with WFP disabled.
thanks ! :)

I will keep it in mind, but for now it's just not high priority - too hard to reproduce here:(

unfortunately, it still doesn't work.
Argh, sorry for this, I've confused F-Secure with Bitdefender fix.

F-Secure issue is still open.

Grroarr! I just had kernel panic SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION. I added Adguard.exe to exclusion list in Bitdefender to avoid an issue when Bitdefender highly uses cpu after Adguard GUI has been closed. The issue did not occur. Then I tried to start Adguard GUI again and the BSOD show up. Unfortunately I had swap file disabled so there is no dump... I'll try to reproduce this.

Even if Adguard.exe is on process exclusions lists, Bitdefender still started to use a lot of CPU resources when I started and closed Adguard GUI for a second time.

I just sent feedback to Bitdefender support; ticket: 2015040115140002

Remember all the problems I had with weather.com? Things like forecast times not being correct among other things. I had to add '@@||weather.com$elemhide,jsinject' to my user filter to fix the time problem. You thought that Stealth Mode would fix that but it didn't.
In the next alpha we'll disable ETag cache for weather.com and see if it helps:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/110

Additionally, I'm having problems playing videos there. The video will appear on the page with 'Loading...' and a spinner not spinning. In order to get the video to play I have to scroll down the page and make sure all the things on the page fill in. Once the page is filled in I go back to the top and the video will play after a few seconds.

When I disable AG protection the video starts out looking the same (Loading..., non-spinning spinner) but will play after a couple of seconds without having to scroll down the page. Really, really strange.

Here's one such video.. http://www.weather.com/series/crazimals/video/wild-goose-chases-truck-in-alberta-canada?pl=pl-editor-picks
I've alerted Alex about that, thank you!

So Kaspersky, NOD32/ESET Smart Security, F-Secure and Bitdefender are the only 4 known incompatible antiviruses? Or is there more? I'm trying to keep track of this. :)

Also, has anyone tested Bitdefender yet with the latest alpha to verify it's fixed?

Also, still seeing issues when using the YouTube+ userscript in Adguard.

It either doesn't prevent autoplay (even though it's set to) or it doesn't automatically load the default video quality I selected, 720p. Here's my scripts settings which can be used to import into the script;

Code:
{
  "GEN_BTTR_NTF": true,
  "GEN_INF_SCRL": true,
  "GEN_YT_LOGO_LINK": true,

Yes, we don't know about other incompatibilities.

KIS & WFP - incompatible SSL filters, enough to disable "scan SSL".
KTS & WFP - disabling "scan SSL" is not enough (?)
ESET & WFP - incompatible SSL filters. Disable "scan SSL" should be enough. Also scan SSL is not enabled by default.
F-Secure & WFP - incompatible drivers
Bitdefender & WFP - should be fixed?

Also there was one more incompatibility: the latest version of Avast and TDI driver. Should be also fixed now.

---------- Post added at 07:21 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:17 PM ----------

About Youtube+, could you please create a bug on github?

I'll look into it a bit further, maybe we'll need to create some test builds.

I don't believe it's enough to disable the scan SSL feature - I believe you also have to exclude and trust all of Adguard's files too for it to work correctly. Blah, I should reinstall KIS and create a tutorial.

Oh, have you guys tried contacting the Kaspersky developers on their forums (maybe in the existing topic)? Seems like their developers do respond to issues there.

KTS & WFP - disabling "scan SSL" is not enough (?)
Might be the same thing here too, would have to setup a Windows 10 VM and test this one.

ESET & WFP - incompatible SSL filters. Disable "scan SSL" should be enough. Also scan SSL is not enabled by default.
Excellent, probably a good idea to exclude all of Adguard's files there too.

Will do once I'm back on Windows (diagnosing the Mac beta issue right now). :p

So what is the cause of Bitdefener high cpu usage when Adguard GUI has been closed? What GUI has to do with network drivers, especially when TDI is used.

Sounds like Bitdefender is scanning something. Have you tried completely excluding Adguard's files and folders?
