Oh, have you guys tried contacting the Kaspersky developers on their forums (maybe in the existing topic)? Seems like their developers do respond to issues there.
Yes, we have sent them more details about this issue and how it could be fixed on their side. It's hard to say if our assumption is right without seeing their source code, but it looks like they have ran into a known windows bug with two WFP drivers working along.

So what is the cause of Bitdefener high cpu usage when Adguard GUI has been closed? What GUI has to do with network drivers, especially when TDI is used.
We have not yet tested this one. Strange issue, GUI does nothing with network drivers, everything is done on the service side. When GUI disconnects service stops filtering and that's all.

I will keep it in mind, but for now it's just not high priority - too hard to reproduce here:(

no problem, just bumped this issue because it's slower with new alpha.

I don't know if you saw the first part of my comment, but you asked me which window presents problem with finger scrolling : it's the first settings page. it would also be nice if scroll bars were a bit more large when using Adguard on a touch screen.

We have ordered a windows tablet, should soon arrive to the office.

So I hope we'll make UI more touch friendly soon.

avatar@: Sorry, it was my bad, I wasn't clear enough. The following thread was about stopping Adguard protection
http://forum.adguard.com/showthread.php?5935-Adguard-and-Bitdefender-issue while my post http://forum.adguard.com/showthread.php?5935-Adguard-and-Bitdefender-issue&p=56240&viewfull=1#post56240 was about exiting Adguard GUI using 'Exit Adguard'.
I'll try to completely exclude Adguard's files and folders.

Hmm, so what exactly was broken when WFP driver was used with Bitdefender? On pre-RTM Windows 10 builds I had Bitdefender installed but it was not fully functional and was not supported officially (just incompatible). I've noticed rarely missing ads, very slow web pages loading times during long browsing sessions. Disabling protection and exiting Adguard were/are the issues. Anything else?
I'll switch to WFP driver and will keep an eye on any issues.

So far I'm unable to reproduce the BSOD. http://forum.adguard.com/showthread.php?6048-Early-Access-Adguard-6-0-Alpha-Version&p=58134&viewfull=1#post58134 Without dump can't be sure what was the cause.

Boo Berry@: Are you sure YouTube+ script has been updated to handle new YT HTML5 video player?

I started to get the can't connect to server message or whatever it was. I decided to 'Reinstall Certificate' and viola no more error messages.

Yup, it has. It also works 100% of the time in Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey. It works maybe 95% of the time through Adguard and I'm thinking it might have to do with the timing of the injection. I'll begin writing up the bug report ASAP.

When I added all 3 Adguard executables on Bitdefender exclusions list, the high cpu usage still could happen (however not always). So I excluded whole Adguard folder. No issues so far.

Of course I would rather prefer to have the incompatibility issues fixed but my little experience in contacting companies support teams with technical software engineers shows that developers are rather not interested in fixing such issues or cooperating. The exclusions "fix" is rather workaround and not good practice. Just my 1 zł (polish złoty) :)

BTW: It would be nice to add to FAQ or somewhere info about the exclusions needed to be added on Bitdefender exclusions list

This has probably all ready been discussed but will there be options to tailor Stealth Mode to individual sites? I already discovered some sites that won't function properly with Stealth Mode. It's probably an option(s) under Stealth Mode that is causing the problems. Bing.com is such a site. With full blown Stealth Mode on I can't sign in and it thinks I'm located in Germany. Disabling Stealth Mode fixes it.

Perhaps the AG extension could handle this?

Today using WFP driver I saw some ads in google search on random queries. In the x.db I have:
Code:
173.194.116.206:443_encrypted.google.com"
173.194.116.206:443_mt0.google.com$
and xtls.db
Code:
/ 173.194.116.206:443_encrypted.google.com_tls1_0
Ads disappeared when I turn off and back on my network card.
Web page source code: http://pastebin.com/sMGsB3de
Adguard assistant icon was missing

We'd prefer to fix this with Adguard filters. Just report this to false positives section and include information about stealth mode settings.

Maybe this is the same issue we have with nyaa.com and 2ip.com.ua:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForWindows/issues/94

Certificate may be wrongly considered as invalid.

I see the company name has now been fully changed to Performix, nyc.

On a clean install, the installer was successful in creating a desktop shortcut.

Even when I chose to disable/uncheck the https filtering during setup install/config, Adguard installed the certificate in my Firefox, why?
I thought the certificate is required only for https filtering.....

The adguard for windows program is not compatible with Firefox Nightly v43.
I can confirm this and if u want I could also show this to you via Team Viewer.

I'm on Nightly also. What problems are you seeing?

It doesnot block the https addresses even when its ticked/enabled and adguard certificate is installed.
U can try this page: askvg.com
notice the diff when u use only the FF extension and when u use only the prog.
FF extension blocks it correctly but not the program.

It turns out the program need to be running in the tray all the time, if u close it and restart service, then https sites suffer....

Otherwise we'll need to restart all browsers when you tick/untick https filtering.

If https filtering is disabled cert is installed, but it is not used.

Yep, that's right. We have not yet introduced "Close without stopping filtering" feature.

1. Firefox and I'm sure other browsers as well have there own third party cookie control. The third party cookie in Stealth Mode overrides the one in Firefox if not the other browsers as well. Do you think it would be a good idea if Stealth Mode knew about the browsers third party cookie rules and exceptions and account for them?

2.Are there new keywords for the Stealth Mode options that I can add to a rule to override them?

I don't see when it could be useful.

No, Stealth Mode is not controlled by filter rules. The only exception is when the URL is whitelisted.
