2 errors sent through adguard about not starting the service

Nothing new to report about Adguard or Stealth Mode. MS Edge doesn't work any longer for me and I don't know why.

Does not work with AG or it does not matter?

There was a bug when left click on a settings 'gear' icon in User filter didn't work, we have fixed it now. At this moment you can access settings by right-clicking on this icon.

Today I tried to install the following updates: KB3081449, KB3081452, KB3081448. The last one failed to install once, so I had to reboot the PC 3 times to install all of them... After 1st reboot when two firsts updates has been installed, Adguard service was locked up. It looked very similar like one of videos I posted where services.msc reported Adguard service was running, but the app said otherwise. I was unable to restart the service.

The service works now.

[OFFTOP]Windows 10 really pissed me off. I don't remember Windows 7 ever failed to install updates (unless I did something ridiculous). Less than a month has passed and MS Edge and all taskbar system icons are unresponsive + windows in separate explorer processes bug. Like it wasn't enough, lack of proper AMD drivers for my APU...

Ah, I've almost forgotten about Bitdefender buggy exclusions and incompatibilities with Sandboxie and Adguard (Bitdefender constantly high CPU usage after exiting Adguard)[/OFFTOP]

Yes, any license is ok. Don't forget to set "Beta" update channel.

Thanks for the Adguard v6.0.41.184 update. Sorry I've been busy to fully test this Alpha versions, but I will report back any problems with normal use.

With latest release I haven't seen any ads on google domains. However I've noticed empty placeholder was present at the top of google search page. Same on YT, empty box with "Advertisement" word. Those domains are present only in xtls.db now. I guess it only happens once, until tls fallback exception is made

what's the use of this file, is it the backup of settings of the Program, like the export all settings feature?

when creating custom filter rules, or user filter as is known in the program, when the + sign is clicked to add a new rule, the screen(or scroller in particular) remains at the same position(at the top only) that is it doesnot scroll down to the place created for the new rule....have to manually scroll it down which can be a PITA when user list is large.
IMO when the + sign is clicked it shud immediately take me to the place where I just enter/paste my rules and press enter.

Anybody else noticed this?

Another issue related to User Filters is that, when u chose import rules for the second time it replaces the already existing ones fom the list.....
IMO it shud merge the rules (second one with the old first one).
Or maybe you could notify and ask the user if u wanna replace the custom filter rules with existing ones or wanna merge them to the existing ones....

I'm filtering only Firefox in my PC but it looks like Adguard Filter Apps 'Show Installed only' doesn't recognise it.

A point to note I installed nightly after I installed Adguard so maybe Adguard doesnot recognise apps/programs installed after its own installation.
Also looks like Chrome was not identified even when it was installed prior to the installation of Adguard.
Remember I'm talking abt the screen in the screenshot above only, filtering and manual adding and auto filtering is done as it should.

Anyone tried adding a custom filter lists locally, that is, by browsing it from within your PC?
For me it shows error and it's always the same for all filter lists I try to add locally.

Is there any particular criteria?

Tried with Russian filter and pasted the content into a txt file, renamed the header to "Test filter" instead of "Russian filter" and the error still happens

More likely it's an issue with filters, not with net filtering. Also having some google domains in xtls.db is ok, it's bad when you see something in x.db.

This is Adguard UI's settings, they are not very important.

For manual settings export/import you can use %programdata%\Adguard\adguard.db file.
