Hi! Thanks for sending the log!

Filed a bug report on this:
https://github.com/AdguardTeam/AdguardForiOS/issues/393

What's interesting, in the log file I see that ad requests are actually blocked, I wonder why do you still see ads. Let's wait a bit for @stillness to take a look at the log file.

We might need to try some experimental builds to figure out what's wrong. Do you have some free time to try the beta version?

Yea, that's what is weird. It LOOKS like it's blocking stuff and I think it is blocking SOME, just not 100%.

If you need me to try a beta I probably can.

@Bob1234567 we also need to know your network settings (if you use WiFi, please take a screenshot of the WiFi network screen - we need to know about such things like proxy etc.)
I use wifi when at home but it occurs on LTE also. I am using Windscribe VPN too. I will say that I have tried with windscribe turned off and it is the same results

Edit: Ok so I lied. I just tried again and disabled Windscribe, then disabled Adguard vpn. It seems to be blocking ads now with system-wide. Is it possible windscribe is hijacking some of my dns requests? Anything that can be done about it?

Edit2: Well sorry, I don't know what's going on. I turned windscribe back on and everything is being blocked again without Adguard DNS turned on.....did you guys change something in the background and are now just messing with me?! Lol o_O

Edit3: I'm so sorry for all the updates but I keep testing things. Here is what I've found:

If everything is disabled, then Adguard system-wide is turned on first and then windscribe all ads are blocked. If windscribe is activated first then Adguard they are not all blocked. So it seems windscribe is keeping some dns traffic maybe?? Hopefully all this helps

Ok here is more of what I found out.

When I am on cellular and Adguard system-wide is turned on first, then windscribe, it works. However, when my phone connects to wifi it stops working and I get ads again. I then have to turn off both windscribe and Adguard system-wide and turn back on in correct order and it will work on wifi.

To further make sure, I did this without windscribe on at all. With just Adguard on I can connect and disconnect from wifi and it retain the blocking. With them both activated though connecting to wifi messes something up. Disconnecting doesn't affect it though it seems.

I use adguard vpn by itself and it randomly stops blocking ads in apps until I turn the vpn on and off again. I hope someone can reproduce this.

Do you have the same problem as me? Where ads just stop being blocked randomly?
Not specifically. Mine stops working when I connect to wifi (I think). Must be something to do when both VPNs establish their connection again that my actual VPN is taking precedence with the dns or something ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@avatar @vasily_bagirov

Any updates or suggestions on this?
So more of what I found. When connecting to Adguard and then windscribe DNS traffic is not sent through Windscribe at all it seems. Which I think is why it is blocking ads. But it is leaking all of my DNS traffic to my ISP. It is my thinking that it should run like this: Adguard gets DNS requests, blocks bad ones, sends the rest through to the other VPN.

I've tested this by connecting to Adguard and then windscribe. Running tests at ipleak.net show my real isp dns service instead of my windscribe dns. But shows windscribe IP address

If I connect to windscribe first and then Adguard ipleak shows my windscribe dns but no ads are blocked by Adguard.
