If you're using an antivirus like Kaspersky, Bitdefender, ESET's NOD32/Smart Security, etc. then Adguard will automatically disable the WFP driver due to incompatibilities with those antivirus programs. Otherwise by default Adguard should use the WFP driver on Windows 10 unless you've unchecked it yourself.

Hello,

I beg your pardon if I interfere in this post.
I am using Kaspersky and am interested in installing Adguard: do someone of you think I will have some incompatibility issue?
I was interested in installing Adguard and use Edge as browser. Considering what I read in this post, I may be able to use Kaspersky and Adguard only if the WFP driver is disbled, but I will not be able to use Adguard's filtering on Edge. Is that correct?

Simply disable "Scan SSL" feature in Kaspersky. Once it's disabled AG and KIS will work together.

Many thanks for your reply.
I am using Kaspersky Total Security, not the antivirus: do you know any incompatibility with Kaspersky Total Security?
As far as I know KTS cannot change the "Scan SSL" feature, it might be only possible in the stand alone antivirus.

Hm, that's not good:( In this case the only way to fix this is to disable HTTPS filtering in Adguard.

The problem here is that you'll loose ad filtering on HTTPS websites.

This is a bad news, since https websites are very popular and widespread, like facebook, for instance.
I hope Adguard can solve this in the next future so it can reach also KTS users.

We've reported this bug to Kaspersky Lab, still waiting.

The problem is in their wfp driver, we can't fix this on our side.

I saw your post on KIS forum, did it help to disable SSL scan?
Yes, my post in Kaspersky forum is at the following link:
http://forum.kaspersky.com/index.php?showtopic=329342

I finally decided to install Adguard.
I followed the instructions received at the Kaspersky forum along with those in this thread, that is I enabled the WFP driver because Adguard was not filtering on Edge.
So now the WFP driver is enabled in Adguard and 'scanning of secure connections' is disabled in Kaspersky.

Something is preventing all browsers except Edge from loading https webpages, such as Google, Bing, Startpage...
I am also having other minor issues, like loading JW player, mainly in Firefox and Opera.
The browsers on which I am testing are: Edge (no problems at all), Firefox (mostly affected), Chrome (unable to solve https requests, even Google's) and Opera (minor issues).

With the WFP driver disabled in Adguard, these problems are removed but there is not filtering on Edge.

I found I also had to add Adguard's directory and executable files to the exclusions list and trusted list. I should reinstall Kaspersky in a virtual machine as I had found a way to get Kaspersky working with the WFP driver.
