Filters not updating automatically

Dear Sir,

3 days ago, I upgraded to the latest version of Adguard for Windows 7.6.1

Today when I place the mouse cursor over the Adguard icon in the taskbar, I see a message that the filters were updated 3 days ago.
I am just concerned why the filters are not updating automatically.

This is my setup.
I have disabled both the "Ad blocker" and the "Extensions" modules completely.
Only the "Browsing Security" module is switched on.
The filter update interval is set at default.

Thank you for your time.

I have managed to find a workaround.

1) I changed the filter update check interval to 60 minutes.
2) I right clicked on Adguard icon on taskbar. And then left clicked on "check for filter updates".

After doing these two steps, my filters start to update automatically.

These two steps may work for you.

If i understand you correctly then when you disabled the Ad Blocker and Extensions modules you likely disabled the ability for them to check for updates?

Could this have been an unfortunate side effect of whatever you changed 3 days ago when you upgraded to 7.6.1?

It just seems odd that 3 days ago you upgraded, yet from your settings you say you disabled the very functions that keeps the Ad blocker filters and extensions updated?

Or am i missing something?

Thank you Sir for taking the time to help.

I have been running Adguard with Adblocker and Extensions modules disabled for many years. Only the "Browsing Security" module is switched on.

Adguard have always updated the filters automatically daily.

It is only recently with my upgrade to 7.6.1 that the filters stopped to update automatically. I am concerned because the "Browsing Security" module may not be using the latest malware/phishing filters.

Anyway I have found a workaround.
1) I changed the filter update check interval to 60 minutes.
2) I right clicked on Adguard icon on taskbar. And then left clicked on "check for filter updates".
After doing these two steps, my filters start to update automatically.

Your workaround doesn't work for me , and also i do have the filters enabled. I use ad filtering , stealth mode and dns protection ( DOQ ).

What happens if you disable the DNS protection and set AG for Windows to update every 60 minutes? Does it then?

tested with DNS filtering and DOQ disabled and filters did update , so there must be something there that breaks filter updates in combination with local filtering and DNS and or DOQ enabled. Also had Stealth mode disabled , i will now enable it and see if it still works ,
