Firefox won't start with WFP Driver option enabled

Hi, I am having similar but slightly different problem to the thread below.

After upgrading to adguard 6 from 5, if I enable "use WFP network driver" option, firefox won't start.

I can disable the option to use ff, but then ad blocking in edge browser doesn't work. I had no such problem with adguard 5.

I would appreciate your help!

+) I later found that if I turn off "web protection" function of sophos antivirus and reboot, then firefox works. Still I feel like this wasn't needed in adguard 5.. but I am okay with this solution.

As @avatar suggested to another user here we can probably go for a teamviewer session.

By the way, did you completely shut web protection off, or just unticked 'Scan HTTPS (SSL) traffic'? Or is it essentially the same thing? (sorry, not too familiar with Sophos)

I have a suspicion that disabling scanning HTTPS traffic should be enough.

Hi, I attached screenshots which might be helpful in reproducing the problem I had.
I couldn't find the option "Scan HTTPS (SSL) traffic"... I am not familiar with sophos antivirus as well. Maybe there are different programs under similar names.
Sophos antivirus can be downloaded as a free trial in a link https://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/endpoint-antivirus.aspx
The link in a red box in the first screenshot installs the program that is similar to what I am using.
Screenshot 2 shows where is web protection, and 3 shows the settings which resolves the problem.

Thank you for the information!

I don't think the problem has something to do with https filtering, it's more like some incompatibility on the driver level.
