    Hi!

I have two machines - one with Ubuntu 14.04 and one with Windows 7.
    I'm using Firefox with both.

Under Ubuntu I installed Adguard extension and under Windows I installed Adguard app. Same problem in both cases.

I'm using Google search page as my homepage in Firefox and I would like to remove top bar from Google search page.

I done that by adding new user filter (google.hr###gb > DIV.gb_Fb.gb_sc:first-child > DIV.gb_5.gb_sc.gb_e.gb_rc.gb_tc:first-child) and it is working but not for long. That top bar is back in a day. Than I add same filter again and that top bar is gone again. Everything is fine for one day but than it is back. I can remove it but it is coming back every time (always after a day or two).

So, what am I doing wrong? Can anybody help?

You mean the top bar with name (if signed in) and Google+ stuff on Google's homepage? Mind posting a screenshot so I know exactly what you're referring to? Thanks!

    Try adding this to your user filters;

    Code:
    ###mngb
It isn't domain-specific, so it should work on various Google domains (e.g. google.com, google.co.uk, google.hr, etc.).

OK, I tried this solution. At first moment actually deleted too much from Google homepage (everything except Google Doodle).
I played with settings a little and it seems now is ok.

    This one worked well.
    Code:
    ###gb > DIV.gb_Fb.gb_sc:first-child > DIV.gb_5.gb_sc.gb_e.gb_rc.gb_tc:first-child
Boo Berry thank you for your time and your help!

I didnt notice much difference in Boo's or your solution.

    Can always try:

###gb or ##.gb_5 just depends if your fussy how it looks in adguard.

Well, ###gb deleted too much (only Google Doodle stayed) but ##.gb_5 worked fine.
