High CPU usage with Firefox (also, freeze issues)

Wouldn't it be easier to involve the Newsblur dev. directly?

I am not sure if we have enough data for a bug request right now.

First of all, we have not yet narrowed it down to newsblur.com
Second, we don't have enough data for a bug report.

What could be useful to him (if the cause is newsblur):
1. WS connection data
2. What's done in the browser console
3. Something else? Do you have any idea?

The problem with WS connection is that FF does not allow us to see what's going on inside (unlike Chrome).

There is a bug still in Status=NEW for 2.5 years:

This WS connection, I see that it is created when I sign in to newsblur.

So it's likely to be it then. I've asked our tester to use newsblur for some time and see if he face that issue.

Try the temporary solution next time: refresh newsblur tab

Wow, then I guess the only thing left is dump + top threads from process explorer.

Maybe the problem was not in the newsblur after all

It would be great if, along with a dump, you take a screenshot of top threads from process explorer:

I hope so, there are some important changes on the network-level that could fix this issue.

But I can't confirm it without you.
